Man, I wish I could remember how many clips there are because I took all of mine off last week.

I remember the front having seven lower clips and the above is seven as well.

I think the rear is five or so.

There is three different clips.

Two lower ones. One connects to the cladding the other connects that piece to the chassis.

The top is simply a metal clip/plastic clip which slides and pops into the doors.

The side cladding on the rear quarter panel has two clips - one on the bottom and one on the top.

The front cladding on the front fender has three on top and three on the bottom.

These clips are a pain in the ***!!!! I need to go to the dealership and buy all those bottom clips. My friend Ed and I broke them all. lol

Your local MB dealership should be able to get them.

Either from Fontana or Texas warehouses.

Don't really know why they can't order them? It's a available part and it's NOT hard to get at all. They probably don't know how to order that specific part to be honest - In the EPC the section where those clips are in are VERY confusing and complicated, especially for someone who's not familiar with W124's or the EPC itself.

Yup, Sounds like he doesn't know how to look for it. If I had access to the EPC I would give you the exact call out for the clips so you can guide the guy at the parts counter on how to find it , but I don't anymore.

Anyways, I'm going to the dealership tommorrow anyways to order my clips so I'll get you the part numbers.

Okay, Here's the run down.

You will need Call out #59 for the upper part of the cladding.

For the bottom you will need #71, 62, 74, 65 and the bolts (#68) if you wish as well.

That's just for the front.

Rear you will need #131, 122, 134, 125 & 128 for the bolt.

Upper rear - #116, 119

uhh and thats all I can think of right now. lol I'll let you know the rest and exact details tomorrow.

Albert, Here is everything you'll need specifically to put on the cladding for your car.

These pictures are for you! I bought these last week during my process or working on my car.

You will need Four of these - One goes it the front of each door at the bottom corner.

Second, You will need these clips as well. You will need 14 total just for the doors. 8 for the front (Four on each door at the bottom) and 6 for the rears at the bottom as well.

THEN, you will need 18 of the clips that Forcedawd posted. Those clips go on the cladding itself at the bottom while the clips I posted pictures above go on the chassis which clip to those cladding.

Good Luck.

If you need anymore info let me know.

lots of cars
Chris, Is there any way you can get me the ones on the bottom that go on the chassis? I'll send you the $$ and pick them up when you get them. I also need the clips on the small lower cladding that go on the quarter panel by the door at the wheel well. Let me know, if not where i can get them?

Since you'll be needing more clips than I did and plus I get things at Dealercost + 10% you'll probably end up spending $30-50 dollars worth of clips. Since they are roughly $1-2 EACH!

Also Albert, you'll need the screws as well for the cladding. There are 8 total I believe.

Ab, Yeah I can get you those clips if you need them. Which ones specifically do you need? You can get them at any dealership to be honest - It helps if you provide them with the part number since most don't know how to navigate through the EPC for ****. I can get you all the part numbers if you need them. Just let me know which ones specifically...

I need 155, 152, 146, and a whole bunch of 71 i think...

I'll double check for sure. Mine was $21 with just the lower clips. I'm not sure how much the upper clips will be along with the screws you need.

Do you also need the clip to mount the chrome strip onto the cladding?
