Cool

Sorry to hear, I did that in October and I still have a limp, and I used to play very competitive soccer.

From Seattle to Bellingham on a Saturday morning doing the "speed" limit would be roughly 1.5 hours. I've done the drive more times than I can count in the 8 years I've lived in Seattle. The question becomes how many people from south of Seattle do we loose for having an all out Benz GTG? I am sure you'll get a good turnout between the w124 and yes it would be cool to get other styles in there as well.

Plus this summer I could do a drive to Seattle, just money is pretty tight for me right now since I can only work part time.

but idk... Anacortes takes about 1/2 hour from here so I'd be willing to do that if we could talk the other groups into it. ooo and you can take chuckanut straight into Anacortes!

how many people are for sure on our own gtg? i don't really care if we have five people or a hundred people cause this is my first benz meet, so im just excited to see some more nice cars
Issaquah is actually East of Seattle so it won't add on too much travel time from the hour and a half to get to Seattle (I've done an hour from Seattle to the border, but that was tailing a S4 the whole way).

Rik, seeing you send more time on this side, do you mind poping in to the w208 once and a while to let us know what's going on?

If you guys end up going with Plan A and if the w208s can't make it then we can shoot for the XXX in the summer. I am traveling most of May through July so it might be harder for me to make it.

By the way, aren't the w209s trying to put a GTG in Vancouver, BC as well?

My vote is for sticking to the original plan. I would rather have a small group of 124 owners (No offese mr pie!!) who I "know" from the forum than a large groupe of randoms.

I would love to meet up with a large group of MB owners sometime in the summer.

Would be great if you could join us Mr. Pie.

You guys asked me for ideas, so I shared some, I will go no matter where it is really, I am not picky when it comes to car shows, there are so few as it is. I almost always go to Waterfront park in BC every year for the MB Club of Canada show anyway.

Avoiding the border is a plus, I always get hassled going into Canada.

Thanks for the ideas, Rik. I'm glad you brought them up. They got kicked around and I think that was good in that we are now, sure of our
preferences - We'll stick with our original BC/Wa. plan.
It appears to work very well for those in the area we intended, and of course, we welcome anyone who wishes to join us.

When we see you, please tell us more about the MB Club show. Most of us are new to the scene here.

Rik, you rock for trying to make it a big turnout and giving us options, I do agree that I'd rather this be a close knit meet with people we've e-interacted regularly with and then if more people want to join like Mr Pie etc, they are MORE than welcome but our main location should remain as planned.

Myfirstbenz!!! Can't you get someone to drive??? We all wanna meet you!!

Plan A FTW. Stick to that....let's get a real list going for our original plan

Since myself and my ride are not in top form, I would feel silly I really wish I could stop in, but with this ankle and the fact that it is my last quarter of school, I am a little bit overwhelmed at the moment. I just hope that this is an annual thing from now on so I can stop by next year.

What school? I know people that have done that who fail to realize that there are plenty of hidden objects in P.lots like that. Don't forget the basic laws of physics.

That's too bad we've just inherited some new w208 cuties.

Just giving you a hard time. I now have this on my calendar so if I can make it I will be there too.

C'mon AGL, Birch Bay is even closer than Bellingham!

Kidding... would be great if you can manage it, I'm adding your name.

Impressive collection of cars - which one will you bring?

We have two theme-modded 300E's coming, a 400E, and four E500E's,
one, a rare radically modded red 500, and another, a nitrous-fueled 'sleeper'

ahhh don't worry... we never got enough snow for it anyway, but i was talking about the FHS parking lot. it's big, no parking curbs or speed bumps, and it's flat, but best of all when there is a lot of snow either the cops don't show up or they just don't care
