Just me but I think it would put you one step closer to the sport compact tuner category. Just don't put a fart can on it.

LOL well berti...It all depends on the style you're going for. With your bumper, lights, and whatnot...I think it would look really good!

That's why we are putting it on...better to scrape plastic splitters that we can replace than our bumpers.

depends on how far forward of the bumper they protrude. If they are out there too far, the splitters will shake themselves loose. Personally, I would tuck in the splitters and go without the universal rods.

BTW: FWIW, if those splitters are real carbon fiber, I wouldn't paint them. Also, be sure to use rubber or Teflon washers between them and your bumper when you mount them.

Teflon would be best as it will protect your paint the best and provide a bit of cushion for when that splitter hits the ground and is driven up into your bumper. Hard durometer rubber or Delrin would be a good alternate material choice.

Go to Mcmaster-Carr http://www.mcmaster.com/

and look up PTFE Washer to see what sizes will work best for your application.

I will be interested to see how those splitters work on a slammed 124...
