ZorroAMG on TV!
Hey all, just thought I'd update you all on my pursuit for film and TV..
I booked a role on the new CBC Canadian tv series Wild Roses that airs Jan 9th. It's about an Oil family in Calgary and I play Graham, one of the lead's oldest friends for one episode so far. I will let you all know when it will air etc as soon as I find out. My shoot date is Dec 18th and it's not a huge role but I have my own freaking trailer!!!

I JUST got the call from my agent so of course I'm not on here yet but here is the IMDB..

In other news, I am working on two amazing indie features and will post trailers here when I can!

Congratulations!!!
You are pursing your dreams and achieving success. I saw in the one link that one of the actors said "We are a very handsome, beautiful group'' and "We're a very good-looking cast.'' It must be great to be one of a "beautiful group", as opposed to just being someone that owns a beautiful coupe or sedan.
There is just so much money in entertainment, so it seems it really could pay off in a very big way. Of course there are plenty of starving actors, but you seem to be on a track that could lead you to bigger things. Good luck as you continue to pursue your career.
Just remember to watch out for your spring perches.

Good news. I always wondered how many decent acting opportunities show up in the great-white-North? Must be pretty competitive.

Great news, sexing up Alberta is a great way to nab ratings!
The same (amazing) detail orientation that we've all watched on these boards appears to be a successful formula for preparing for this work. Time in and nitpicking details until they are perfect has made you a completely unique charactor on these boards, in a group of hundreds doing the same thing.
Great that you've used that formula in the rumored real world. Your biggest fans are on these boards...

Mark, first off congratulations!! Like many others have said your field of passion tends to be a very competitive environment, give yourself a pat on the back. The hard work has obviously payed off, however, the most impressive fact is that your hard work is being recognized, and that is an absolute reflection of your dedication and love for your acting career. If your a actor, being in LA or BC are good locations, seems that so many TV series and movies are filmed in the Vancouver area. Good luck, hope to see you on TV soon
