www.parts.com - OE/OEM parts

Ill omit any duplicates from the above.

Great idea, Chris.

Perhaps too, Along with this compilation of dependable supplier sites, we could attach to each a summary of their performance?
A feedback of accountability and delivery, similar to eBay, would be useful tool for our members.

That sounds good as well. Let's do that too.

Eventually once there is enough content I'll edit my original post and add all the links and feedback in one post so everything looks cleaner and easier to find.

300TE 4Matic
Smile

Damned good idea! This thread is very useful and I want to add my experiences....
I have a '90 300TE 4matic, bought in Sweden a few years ago, and took it with me to Papua New Guinea. I have had all sorts of problems with it but I like it and really enjoy driving it. My parts supplier for most things have been http://www.autohausaz.com/ . They have been absolutely terrific with speedy delivery and always the correct parts.
I have ordered at least 7 times from them and it has never taken any more than just over one week to receive the parts. Now - you might say ONE WEEK !!! BUT don't forget I am in Papua New Guinea and we are usually happy if something arrives within one month !!! Truly impressive in my opinion and their prices are very good. Only a fraction of MB Australia prices.
So it's been Autohaus Arizona for me but I am very interested in other trustworthy sources as well because there are some items they don't stock for the W124.

I was looking at buying an item awhile back from adsitco.com, but was warned off by a flurry of known posters with bad experiences.

It might have been a different forum but there were enough bad experiences to remove them from my own list.

And buymbparts.com w Rusty has been a great resource for oem items.

http://www.katmac.com

Great thread for a sticky, excellent idea.

Please, please, PLEASE do not buy from Adsitco!! If they happen to get your order right, you might save a buck or two. If ANYTHING goes wrong, you will understand why you should never, ever buy from those thieves. Click here to read some horror stories from another forum. Their "terms and conditions" are grossly unfair to customers. Someone even set up a nice web page bashing them (click here). If there is ever a "sticky" created, I pray that Adsitco is only there as a "don't buy from" listing. Anyway:

Rusty Cullens at www.BuyMBParts.com is top-notch. I have been recommending them for nearly 10 years. They can also obtain any & all OE dealer parts at near-wholesale prices, just call or email for a quote (dealer-only items won't appear on their website search - gotta contact them directly for that stuff).

I recently tried www.AutohausAZ.com and was pleasantly surprised with their prices and service. They offer slightly different products & brands than Rusty. I've yet to hear a complaint about Autohaus.

I've recently been buying a lot of parts from Autohaus AZ and they have top notch service and their shipping is very fast!

They accidently shipped me the wrong spark plugs but Tom over at Autohaus took care of it directly and shipped out the correct ones right away. This is the kind of service I like - great customer service and excellent shipping.

Will continue doing business with them!
