Paint Code Help - AMG Wheels match to Lower Body ??

I thought I'd post this here also ......

I'm looking for the paint code for the lower body of my 1995 E320 Cab. The car is White with LIGHT GRAY lower body, I need the paint code of the lower body. It looks like I will be trading my AMG 3 pc wheels for the attched AMG 2 pc wheels, the nice guy with the 2 pc wheels has offered to paint the centers any color I want. So its eather White to match the car or Gray to match the lowers...... What do you guys think ??

My car and the wheels that will be painted.

Thanks

Ok thats the 2nd vote for White...... I was thinking white would be cool on an ALL White car..... BUT I was not sure it would look good on my White car with the Gray lowers.

I need a Photo Shop guy..... I got lots of pixs of my car if it helps

Paint the thing all white if you want the car to look updated. Leave it if you want the OEM look but EWWWW on white wheels. They look cheap IMO. Wheels should contrast the car....darker car/silver wheels or color match for vader look. Colored cars/silver, black or variations. White cars/gunmetal or black wheels.

I like the lowers the color they are, I think it works on White cars...

So what color would you paint the centers of these AMG wheels on my car ??

Thanks

i think they would look good with satin black centres with the polished lips - who said you had to colour match them to the outside of the car.

I think that you should just follow your initial thought and paint the centers silver... The pictures you posted of the wagon look amazing & I'm certain that your car would look just as good if you had those centers painted a similar color. Plus it would follow your taste, which is the ONLY important opinion here....

Since you asked for my opinion, here's my idea:

Gunmetal Centers incl bolt surrounds, bolts silver/polished, lips polished
Body color lower panels
Body Color handles
Body color mirror mounts
Clear front signal lights

Enjoy!

Why? Any good body shop will blend properly. It's not like they are gonna go buy the color code and just spray it on....if they are good.
