I really, really want the Yellow ones. I need to see if I can't finagle these amber fog reflectors into my euro housings.

No problem.

The part number for the harness to wire them into the headlights is floating around on one of my computers. I can get that for you in a day or two when I get to my parents place.

There is a way to transplant the bulb socket with the yellow cone into the euro assembly.

We did it to a friends set of euros.

Let me see if I can find the guide.

Looks like I'll be doing it myself for sure now!
Some sand paper, fiberglass and resin, and you can fix it in a couple of hours.

In case someone comes looking for this info later on down the road, I belive the years are like 1984-1989 BMW E30s

Yep....that was my next question to post up -- The actual wiring. How exactly is it wired? Is there a relay involved? If you could grab that info sometime soon that would be great. I won't be actually mounting these on for at least another few weeks so no rush.

Fastest shipping ever

Looks like I can confirm they work! I'll take some better photos once I have the bumper fixed, painted and on the car!

Looks good Robert! Can't wait to see it on your car. I'm still wondering if I should have gotten it and had it cut and molded to the 500e.

Oh well!

I'm glad you didn't LOL

Can't wait either...Tomorrow is transmission wrapup day (hopefully unless I break the pump gear again ) and then I can get going on the 400E brakes, bodykit and cutting springs. It's gonna be one heck of a transformation!

Aw man don't entice me...
...I have a set of 18x8 Monoblock II's in my back yard which I am tossing and turning over...I might be moving out of state to go to ASU soon, so not sure if I should go for more expensive tires + lesser quality ride, or make a smart choice and sell the Monoblock II's and stick with ride comfort and dirt cheap 16" tires.

I'd say sell both and get a set of 17" if youre really concerned with ride. You can get tires pretty cheap on craigslist pretty much always.

The monoblocks would look killer though for sure.

Just bought a set of front Bilstein Sport's....I finally came to the conclusion I made the wrong decision on the comforts. I will just save them for when the wagon needs them replaced. MBPartsWarehouse for $120/each...not bad.

---

Applying bondo to small chips in the rear bumper and it should be sprayed by the end of the day! Will take pictures soon.

Rear bumper painted!
Going to wait a few hours then hit it with clear coat...I've learned since my last bumper spraying that my previous bumper's paint at the bottom started to fade due to little rocks and stuff...so hopefully the clearcoat should give it some resistance.

The painting looks really good. Are you going to use a gloss clear or a matte clear for it?

Yeh not bad for a rattlecan! It came out good because I spent a couple of hours on the prepwork (cleaning, sanding, bondo, sanding, bondo, sanding, cleaning, spraying).
The paint has peeled off as you can see from the original pics for the side skirts, so I will have to strip it all off, sand, then prime and paint. Little more work...

Paint may be peeling off of the side skirts if they were painted by a "rattle can"
Hopefully, at the minimum you now started with something like a Kleanstrip "Bulldog" adhesion promoter.
This agent will prevent peeling and lifting of the finish coat.
Comes in a rattle can and at least gives you a chance of a lasting finish.

Paint / primer used on non metallic / semi rigid parts require a flex / plasticizer additive that allows the paint to flex without cracking...

Anybody know if there is a source to the rear ducktail spoiler? I want AMG or nothing. Pointless going with an aftermarket fiberglass one when the rest of my kit is AMG at this point...
Anyone got a part #?

I do but only 1/4 has the lip reconditioned unless that is fine with you...All of them are Fuzion ZRi 235/40/18. 3 are close to brand new and 1 is brand new. Offset is 31, 18x8

I can send more pics if you are interested. Pm me.

Back on track using a new dremel to sand it down.

Before

Sanded out cracked parts and lightly sanded everywhere else.

Primed

Paint as soon as it dries!
