I'd either put the star back on or fill the holes in for the trunk. I just debaged the model on mine and I think it looks great.

What are you doing to get the front and rear bumpers and the cladding to match the wheel arch extended flare ?

Looks good

thanks.
what i did i didn't cut anithing from the arch of the fenders, they're the orgcinall ones so it just continues with the same line of the bumpers like the stock ones.all i have to do is just widen up the bumpers a little bit wich is ok cause they'r flexible.
how this guy did it for me as i've seen it, he just cut like a 1 to 2 inch strip form another fender and placed it in betwen the arch part of the fender and the one on the car.so it widen up a little bit with the same original arch
like a fill in

quick way is open them in Paint and then go to Image and Resize them smaller

i think painting the corners and tails black is not going to look that good. at the most, maybe the turn signal strip on the tails, but not more than that, especially not the front corners, more so on a white car...
car is looking great so far though, so you know what you're doing!

Makes sense..

I did the front of mine with an overlay of another stock wheel arch...
Pulled it out more then yours to match the original widebody dimensions.

Rear I went with 1980"s Porsche SC which matches the AMG widebody kit.

Had to flare out the mounting for the cladding to match the extended wheel arches...

Yours looks great...keep on posting pix

that's very nice. i love the wide amg stile, and i wish i have what u have on that car , but it will take me some time, and some more $$$ to get there.
so far what i want to do because i have stock engine i just want to get a nicer look.
are u'r weels 17?
cause mine are 18, and i don't know for shure yet if i'll have problems with the front fenders.
it doesnt touch the tires when straight, i'm woried about turning and braking in the same time, that it might get the fenders.
right now i can fit one finger in between

I had 18 x 8 ET35 on the car, but the widebody will use the period correct AMG/OZ Aero I 3 piece..17x8.5 et 17 front and 17 x 10 modifiied to et-7 rear.

Did your body shop set the fender extensions with the wheels on?
We used the installed wheels to establish how far the wheel lip should extend. The front wheels were on dollies so they could be turned lock to lock to check interference prior to welding.
Still may have to make some minor mods should the road test ( if spring ever comes !! ) proves any rubbing

those came out well...I know you already filled in the holes for the star but I think a black star would look really good on the trunk lid

I'm hoping you don't get hassled big time by the cops...they look GREAT, nice and glossy but much too dark from a safety standpoint.

Good luck though!!

i used the 320 e 94 lid from sedan.
it didnt fit s i had to cut it a little from the top corners and charge it a little to the very butom corners to get the same line. than also i had to charge the corners of thecar to meet up with the trunk line because it was like about 1/2" more out than the corners of the car.
