Still looking for Benz to buy.
It is 1994 MB E320 with Mileage of 156k, and he wants 2700 hundred for it. So, what do you think?
Thank you all for you responses.

Ask the seller about
Rust
Head gasket
Transmission - reverse will go first
Timing chain last replaced when?
A/C Evaporator - leaking? Not working? Expensive repair
Driveline FLEX DISCS
accidents - no badge on trunk, could have been repainted from repair
Then test drive to make sure suspension is tight
Clear title? Not salvage?

Don't buy anything without a proper PPI.
The rear badge is not a sign of anything. It is held on with sticky tape and can be removed easy. I removed mine because it was gold (blah).
The branded title will not affect resale value. It already is low. Well maybe $500....
If the seller has documentation or can explain what the accident is, take a look at it.
All panels, doors, fenders, hood, trunk lid etc. have a sticker with the original VIN #.
Look for them and you will see which parts have been changed.
Service records are nice to have, at least have it inspected.
Good luck on your quest.

These cars will last, but need maintenance and if not, things are not cheap.
Go take a look at it. Make sure that the transmission engages quickly. Specifically reverse. This is a problem with these cars.
Remove the coolant cap and see if there is any oil in it. If yes, run. Head gasket.
With the car running and warmed up, remove the transmission dip stick. The level should be at Max and the fluid nice an clean.
Take your time, spend time with the car before buying, check everything.
