Newbie with some questions
Ive got a neighbor with a 300ce "my guess is a 90-94 model I will check today" it has not been tagged since 08 so I think I can get it cheap but in order for me to buy it it's gonna have to be suitable for my plans and hopefully someone has the answers.
I searched and didn't find a lot before I went to asking btw.
I have a GM LS1 that I wanna swap into the car.
I can't find anyone that has done this swap to begin with. Am I over looking something, some where or has this even been done yet?
Much more questions to come if this question can be answered

Good god, man...why do you want to ruin a Mercedes by doing that?? The coupes and cabriolets are the primary W124's that will become collector's items. By swapping the engine, you are effectively making it worthless. Since you are wondering, THAT is the reason why you have not found a thread about swapping out engines...we value our Mercedes.

The car has not been tagged since 2008 I likely doubt it runs or I wouldn't even consider the car. The other problem I'm gonna run into is if the rear end and the suspension work can be done to handle the power of the output my motor makes

MBWorld Fanatic!
There are plenty of people who have gone that route with the 300e, which isn't drastically different. Check again here, I can't remember who, but it has been done.

Sorry but I might like German design but I'll stay with American hp. I'm always looking for something to build as a sleeper. But like I said I was really concerned if the driveline would handle the power or not.
