Can you let me know a good price for all this stuff?

I found a sight for healights and clear corners for $600, that is way too much. I paid $100 for OEM on a C-Class.

Hello, I used a transparent red tint spray to get rid of the orange, instead of blacking out my lights. With the W124 you can spray the inside and the outside of the tailight. Then the turn signal will light red as opposed to orange.. Sorry, no pics.

No, I guess it's popular episode. The avatar I got off another forum that was posted as a larger pic, I just scaled it down, guess he did the same.

Try Berwerks - www.bergwerks.com

Give them a call, they are really into modding older benzs. They are very trustworthy mechanics as well. Don't know what part of SoCal you hail from but Bergwerks is in Van Nuys. I bought my clear corners from them. Was around $80.00 for clear Hellas. Beware of the cheaper clear corners as they have cheaper retention mechanism and are prone to early failure (meaing you'll lose a light).

They also sell: a lower geared rear end (from what I hear, really opens up the throttle response)

Euro headlights - superior output to US.

You could ad a sportline steering box and or sportline suspension (quicker steering) - check www.mercedesshop.com and do a search for "sportline" to aquire part #s

Also check out this e420 page - great article on adding 18" rims and lowering suspension as well.

Depo's are the cheap ones. Hella and Bosch will be the real deal but more $$$. It's a trade off, save some $$$ or get the better brand.

Ok, thanks. I wanted to make sure. I saw some on Ebay, but they were Depo. So you dont recommend them? I had Gecar and those were excellent quality, before I had some Taiwan ones that were so bad I didnt even use them. Have you heard of Gecar? They came in the OEM Bosch yellow boxes. Is Gecar Bosch? What do Hellas look like? Whats a good price to pay for Hellas or Bosch? What about taillights? Thanks.

If it was me I'd buy the Depo's since they are cheaper in price. I know several people who have Depo's and other non Hella, Bosch brands who don't have any trouble.

They aren't built as well but it's not like they a complete crap, just not up to Mercedes standards.

I have never heard off Gecar but that doesn't mean a thing.

They look the same. Hella and Bosch were the OEM lights for MB and still are today. Hella I would say makes the best lights for cars in the world since that's all they do. Bosch pretty much makes every single mechanical thing for our cars and everywhere.

I your talking about clear corners they run around $40 a side. The euro lights are about $350 a pair, and tailight lenses are I think $150 a side.

On my car the brand is not Bosch or Hella, I forget what it is but they're original lights.

Just look on ebay, there you can buy it all, original and other.

I cant find them. These look like the ones I had on a C-Class, but I cant tell for sure. I was very satisfied with them though, they were supposed to be OEM made by Gecar. They came in a yellow Bosch box. I had some other ones that were AM and I never used them they were so cheap. Thanks for your post.

Anyone have pics of Depo clear corners? I want to see how they look and feel. I heard they are almost as good as originals.

I think most 3rd party corners fit pretty well. Haven't heard many complaints about fit. Where they cut corners is in the rubber trim and retention clips. This is why I spent the extra money on Hellas. I'd rather not have to buy them again after they drop out.

Thanks, but I need to know what exact clear corners are the good ones and which arent. I can tell by the pics alone, I need someone who bought from these sellers or can compare the corners to tell me.

I think most would agree that either Bosch or Hella are tops where quality is concerned. They tend to run $70-$85 but when I was researching this topic, I found several complaints of cheaper/non Bosch/non Hella lights falling out.

Do a search at Mercedesshop.com - place clear or clear corners into the search engine for further input.
