first off...have you even done any research at all on your own?

The body shop guy is stupid. You don't need to change the headlights, bumpers and what not to install a 94-95 style hood and grill. Probably wants to make more money off of you.

All I could tell you right now is that its gonna be a lot of $$$.

To do the E320 conversion, you will need to get the E320 hood, headlights and grill. The 300E headlights will have clearance issues with the E320 hood. This is due to the two vertical lines in the front of the E320 hood. The E320 headlights have grooves in them to accomodate those lines. I should know, I did the E320 conversion to my 300e

Don't change to new style

You do need the updated lights, IF you change your car.

If I had an older version of the W124, I would just get "Eurolights" and paint the grille insert black. Why change it?

I like this grille, but it came with my car except for the black painted insert.

Prices:

Hood: $350
Headlights: $250
Grille: $150

Ksing44: The 300E front is a little "outdated" despite the minute resemblance to the E320. The E320 fascia looks a lot more smoother compared the the "blocky" front of the 300E. At least, thats why I did the conversion.

If you find a 1994-1995 E320 a junkyard, you can save a lot of $$$. I wanted new parts on my car, so I bought new parts.

In my opinion...I really dont like the new style hood. I'll always like my hood. If I were to change something I'd rather just remove the chrome and color match it to my car.

I think 300E's look far more agressive in the front.

or

I like how my grill doesn't curve into the hood like the E320 does. I don't know about you guys, but thats just my opinion. Especially with what people have done, ZorroAMG to name a few, looks far more nicer.
