No...trust me. I already bought them once for W124 up to '93 and they literally suck. They're cheap - money wise - but you'll wait 6 weeks for them, it's your choice at the end, buddy...

To tell you the truth...they only look nice on the picture and that's why I bought them. These people really cost me alot of nerves...Imagine this everyday the same story for 3 weeks ( their comment ): they will be there tomorrow. I was really getting pissed off but since I order two sets and they both arrived in one piece I said ...the hell with it and left them +++positive+++ feedback. After all, I sold one pair on eBay and made some money on them within the first day with "buyitnow" option. If I'll find some real pictures I'll post them for you....believe me:

Chris,

Get them only if you get the lightly smoked clear corners to match. I prefer the reg clear Euros matched with clear corners it gives the impression of one whole flowing headlight.

Not feeling Perz's super drk corners they break up the feel and flow of the front..Not smooth & clean looking..

Chris, I think those look nice. if they are Depo brand then the quality is very good.

I agree with cali, try to get lightly smoked corners with them.

I have blacked out euros I did it myself with crystal clear corners, and I like how it looks, but thats just me.

You can also take regular euros, and apply chrome tape inside and make them look nice too.

hey hey all. Thinking about ordering them next week. I contacted the seller and they are Depo. 270 shipped. Anyways, I already have smoked corners. I think it will look nice with my car along with the blacked out grill and new taillights.

Can you guys hook me up with parts I would need to get to install them. Such as front wiper panels cover without holes and what not. What kind of wiring or wiring harness do I need to get from the dealership or website...

ask the seller to include the plug pieces for you they are cheap.

Also you can get the wiper delete panels from the dealer. I think when I got mine they were like $8.00 each.

I may have an extra set of the connectors for euro headlights, I am not sure but I dont think they are expensive. they are 6 pin not 4 pin. you are going to want to tap into your parking light for the city lights.

And a little bit of reconfiguration of which wires go where is in order.

I used femal bullet connectors for my city lights, when you cut the plastic off of them, they fit great inside the euro connector.

When you get them, let me know. Maybe we can meet up and I will help you install them.

Shoot me an e-mail - asherson at msn dot com

chris

you definetly need euro's...

i have bosch and have been VERY happy with them.

i have some extra 6 pin connectors and have all the bulbs you'll need.

www.adsitco.com
www.capitolwest.com
www.bekkers.com

when you buy bosch or hella, you get the turn indicators, bulbs [standard], connectors, installation instructions. i've heard people say [who bought depo] they had to buy all this stuff seperate. fyi

Ebennz, thanks for the info! Bosch and Hella are so expensive though! I think I'm going with the black/smoked out theme with my car. So how much for the 6 pin connectors and what kind of bulbs do you got?

GORBETTTEAM, thanks for finding those pictures! I've been looking around for more pictures of the headlights. I emailed the seller and he told me they are Depo. So is the only reason why you don't like them is because the fact that they took six weeks to deliever? Other than that, you haven't said anything bad about the headlights. Also, you don't think they are nice at all? hmm... lol.

Let's just say.....cheap interior design LOL. I just don't like the fact that it's just the paint inside the headlight panel that make it look so different. I thought it might look nice on my black w124 but I just don't see it on any other color. Proof me wrong buddy...

I'll take that challenge and prove you wrong. Afterall, I believe it'll look nice as hell on a white car.

Besides, 280 shipped for Depo headlights? A brand right next to Bosch. Sounds good to me.

Does anyone know where I can get a little spray can of Superior white to match the headlight wiper deletation panels? They come black dont they.

EDIT: Contacted House of Imports and they don't have the 6pin connector for the headlights. Are the headlight wiper deletion panels rubber? because he has those for 7 bucks without the holes. Ah, whack.

first of all depo and tyc are NOT right next to bosch or hella, they are below.

they do fit into some budget's better.

NOT ALL knock-off's have the vacuum adjuster capabilities.

the lower fascia plates are metal and they come primed. you can get them 3 ways, u.s. wiper, no wiper holes, late w124/euro spec wiper holed.

when you buy depo or tyc you HAVE to buy bulbs and connectors seperately. there is a lot you need to look at when getting a TOTAL price.

i have ALL the acc part numbers posted at mercedesshop under performance paddock.
http://www.mercedesshop.com/shopforu...ghlight=ebennz

i've been there and done that.

i am an osram [not sylvania] and narva lighting distributor.

Thanks for the very much needed info Ebennz.

I'm assuming that the part I need is the...

headlight lower fascia cover [needs to be primed & painted]
124-889-07-63
124-889-08-63

but I thought you said it already comes primered? I'm still new to this lighting business as you can tell so sorry for my lack of knowledge, but what are vacuum adjuster's and vacuum connectors/line.

Parts Needed I assume:
Lower Headlight Covers (anyone know where I can get Superior white paint/spray to paint it?)

6 Pin Connectors (which I still need to find out where to get them since the dealer can't get them for me.)

PIAA Xtreme White Bulbs

am I missing something?

my bad. you're right, i made a mistake.

these do come PRIMED.

there is a vacuum operated headlight beam adjuster on euro mercedes.

YES, that's right!
you can raise and lower the level of your lights from inside your car.

this must be used with GREAT discretion.

this set up will probably cost about $100.00-$125.00 for all parts.

do a "search" at mercedesshop for "beam adjuster"

Thanks for the information Ebennz once again. I don't have the Vacuum Headlight beam adjuster control on my car. Guess it's only on the newer models?

So in my last post. Is that all the parts I need?

Anywho, if anyone can get me Part #'s for the lower headlight cover without wiper holes, 6 pin connectors for euro lights would be great! Thanks for the help everyone so far. I'm ordering my headlights in a few.

you're welcome man.

the beam adjuster is a "euro" only option.
i added mine about a year after i got my euros.

any u.s. mercedes dealer can get you the solid lower fascia plates.
they have the part numbers.
call them and tell them to look up a 260e and order you the parts.

do a "search" a mercedesshop for "6 pin connectors", all this stuff is there.

Thanks again! I'm just stressing out way to much. I searched the MercedesShop forum and found some very useful information but didn't find any Part #'s for the things I need. Oh well, I'll just have to deal with the stupid people working in the parts department tomorrow.

I'm curious...what happened to the old 4 pin connectors on my headlight now. Picture below. Does that just connect into the new 6pin or....yeah.

these important?
