How many miles do you have on your E Class?
Model: E55
Country: USA
Mileage: 70K
Comments: Reasonably reliable... anything done has been warranty so no complaints. Odd fails: instrument panel was replaced (clock started losing pixels) and alternator was just replaced last week - all part of StarMark warranty. Otherwise, very solid - averaging 23mpg (can't complain since I don't baby it -- she was built to be driven!).
Model: E320
Country: USA
Mileage: 83k (owner since 65k)
Comments: I had the dealer as part of the terms of delivery replace the gauge cluster (the clock/outside temp was partial blown out) and replace the driver window motor. Only 2 major problems since then have been the catalytic converter (emissions warranty covered it) and the mass air meter. I will need to do a service B on her really soon. Besides that so far so good. *knocks on wood*
Model: E320S
Country: New Jersey (Commute to NYC every day)
Mileage: 235k (Original Owner)
Comments: Other than a check engine light that does not seem to go away and a few front suspension complaints (NYC roads) the car runs great. Starting to show its age with the bodywork, but I'm working on addressing those concerns. Right now its my goal to hit 1 million miles with my baby. (Luckily I work at an MB dealership, makes life a little bit easier)

The Best of Mercedes & AMG
Model: E320
Country: USA
Mileage: 110k
Comments: I have had no major problems. I had the typical problems with lights for a while, but I seem to have that solved. The wiring harness under the rear seat melted and was replaced once. Otherwise, only maintenance.
Model: E430 4-Matic
Country: USA
Mileage: 51k
Comments: In the shop for catalytic converter noise, and seat noise. (covered under warranty)
Model: E420
Country: USA
Mileage: 105,000
Current issues:
1. Passenger side spring perch rusted through (just found out)
2. Engine ticking noise, not sure if it's the infamous oil guides (sound comes from underneath the engine)
3. Rust on body panels
4. wiper/turn signal stalk & steering column loose and moves around
5. when i turn on or off headlights i get "lamp defective" message
6. driver's window goes down with 1 touch only
56,000 miles
New problem: the engine's coolant temperature seems to be varying more than usual. It used to stay at around 85-90 degrees centigrade or slightly past the half-way mark. Since the summer, it's gone anywhere between 80 to almost 100 degrees centigrade. It hits the higher temperature in stop and go traffic.
Seems like there are a few people who've replaced their transmissions. I hope mine lasts the life time of the car.
Model: E430
Country: Puerto Rico
Mileage: 100k (just make them)
Mods and Repairs: SRS light on (annoying), new shocks, springs and wheels, A/C evaporator (expensive to fix) new command DVD nav (not install yet, still looking for parts), Brake job, and new tranny liquid coming soon (this weekend).
Comments: Love the car, my parents always drove these types of cars, and I never understood why.. NOW I KNOW.
Model: E300 Diesel
Mileage: 147,000
Comments: I love it, bought it on my 26th bday 3 weeks ago with 142K as a economical daily driver. I feel like a Florida retiree and it cruises so nice. I get 32-35 MPG. I am hoping to actually keep this one for awhile. It isn't fast but thats what my turbocharged bmw 535 and my bmw motorcycle are for
It was 100K mile two years ago.
The only difference now and 75K miles ago is that it now has even more gadget (backup camera, handsfree phone ...)

E320
333k
I'm about to inherit this car from my dad since my C240 is giving way too many problems. The car has this many miles with a rebuilt engine and tranny at 200k. It still runs smooth and I like it better than my c class. It's way smoother @ 90MPH, way better accelaration, and its gets better gas mileage. I get about 26 mpg. I love that car
