Here's a couple terrible pix of mine but you get the idea. Honestly, I'll be getting rid of mine in a few more months because the novelty wears off pretty quick. I would suggest going with the clears or leave the factory units as is.

Nope. Because I can't justify paying a $2500 annual fuel tax for a car I only drive once a week. You see in Taiwan our fuel tax is charged annually accroding to engine displacement, which is total BS. Why should I pay more for a big V8 that I drive once a week while the guy with the Civic next door drives his car polluting the environment everyday and yet only pays 1/10th of the fuel tax I'm paying!

i'm having a retrofit done hopefully with Audi A6 projectors, and i can't decide whether i want to go with the black or chrome housings.

I understand your pain!
I hate these politicians! They don't want to change the law to make it fair to everyone, just because they don't want to lose the support from the majority, such as taxi drivers...

Most likely I'll switch back to the OEM HID lights and run them for a while. The look with the black housing are so pronounced that simply going back to the clear factory housings will be enough to freshen things up for some time while I decide if I want get clear projectors. Besides, my factory lights are still in prestine condition, unscuffed and no signs of yellowing!

Personally, I LOVE the look of that black W210 with Black projector housing. I wouldn't change it, it looks great. It has a very unique look and overall catches my attention. I'd rate that car a 10/10, nice work :p

The thing is so rare I WISH there were replicas floating around! I even PM'ed you to buy yours used all the way from CA because I was plain getting desperate! A couple of weeks later I lucked out and found one that popped up on the Yahoo! Japan auction. Needless to say, I snatched it up the moment I saw it. Hell of a deal too! $996USD shipped to my door! You know, if I still lived in NY I would still be begging you to sell me yours because it would kill me if I somehow damaged mine one day and not be able to find a replacement! The road condition here is nothing like the US.

Thanks! Who knows, I might wear one set for a few months and switch back and forth just to keep things fresh.

If you are Hakka you know what I meant. Cool car with cool 5555555 plate. The plate says Taipei so you are from the PRC.

Merry Christmas my friend.

Where's a reasonable place to buy the black projector headlights?

Is this an easy install? Details please. Thanks.
