How do you remove the wood trim pieces?

the trip on top that goes over the glove box is just held in by u nuts and long metal studs so you can pull that out as for the wood trim by the stereo you have to undo 2 screws above the ash tray some what hidden away but easy to get to you should remove the headunit and heater with the mercedes keys to get to it if you take it to a stereo shop theyll charge you 5 bucks to do it. By the shifter all the just pops out go by the cupholder and get a hook and pull up by the bottom its easy

running off to work now, but just viewed the door panel removal and in the
video, you see couple of cheap metal, one way fasteners right about where
the door wood trim is located. looks hopeful....but then again, i'm continually
surprised that MB can design a "you'll-need-to-replace-the-whole-thing" some-
thing.

The wood trim on the dash slides over to the right a few inches and then pull off. You have to lift the speaker cover on the right side and pull the trim back first.
