Why thanks for your words of encouragement. Obviously you haven't sold many cars now have you. There is always the right buyer for the right car.
This isn't some POS you find at a lot in Brooklyn or a gold on gold e class driven by an old man for 6 years. I'm sure there is someone looking for a prestine W210.

In

41 years of driving i have sold at the least over 100 cars.
Just dealing in reality, you be sure to report back when the offers roll in
You might find a real estate agent in Sleepy Hollow to pay a bit more but with the market the way it is that might even be out the window.
Funny how whenever someone paid to much in the first place and has to defend it by insulting the bearer of the reality, the response is always something on the order of your reply. When limited production AMG C43 with low miles are getting offers and being sold in the 10k region and very nice 99-01 E series in the 8-11 range,I was being gracious on the 16k estimate, there is a E430 02 in pa with 14,000 miles he might get 16k you might get fill in the blank_________

Ca car no rust issues low miles
2002 Mercedes Benz E320 Black/Black ***CHROME WHEELS-TINTED WINDOWS*** - $13990
2002 Mercedes-Benz E430 4Matic with warranty $15,900
2002 MERCEDES BENZ E430 - $13995 obo 71k miles

I dont understand why you are discrediting my post, it's like someone walking in front of a house for sale with a sign that reads "asking too much". If you're not interested in buying my car why comment?

nice car, but 24k is huge money for that car, especially from a private seller.

At least it's pretty easy to price a car, and if it doesn't sell in 30 days, you know what you have to do. Lower the price, or wait...wait...wait...wait...

It's priced at the high end, but it appears to be exceptional.

I've never understood make forums bashing sales pricing. The higher the actual sold price, the better off we all are. Good luck with the sale.

The first car listed as a ca car is in northern ca
the second car is a ca car from a dealer with warranty
the third car is in co.
below is a few more
2004 Mercedes Benz E320, LOW MILES - $24500 31k miles*** included as a reality check to the 2002 seller this car is listed at the proper price and even they will sell for less in the market. At least the guy is not a dreamer.Bay area
2002 Mercedes-Benz E430 Excellent Condition - $14900 (san jose north)
73k miles
want a wagon
2002 Mercedes Benz E320 Wagon NAVIGATION * BLUETOOTH * 3rd row seats - $15990 64k miles
E320 Mercedes Benz 2002 Extended Warranty - $13500 76k miles warranty good to 100k miles o.c. ca
You live in the land of benz, they crawl out of the wood work
last year I flew done to s.d. ca. and purchased a 1999 E320 wagon with low miles for $9500 private party loaded in excellent condition, full records, maintained, new tires and brakes, all pixels working.
I have seen members that have gotten dealer cars fare far worse in condition and pay far more money for the false security of buying from a dealer. So if you want to be rude the favor is returned.
I listed the cars you requested and there are dozens more if not hundreds more similar deals all over the country, nicely maintained E series at great prices.
Now the return.
You bought your 2002 from a dealer, you financed it,you paid to much, you are upset, you are upside down on the deal, when it breaks you will come crying here
did I peg you or don't you have the ____ to answer the call out like I did?

Wrong, do a search on 2002's with under 40k on the clock, not many huh. Paid cash, I don't finance my cars. Get over it dude, not everyone is a bottom feeder, I'll get my price for the right buyer. In NY people have the money to spend for cars. This is a huge market for MB's.

Nanuet MB has a white one without the Sport Package and they are asking a similar price. Would I take a good offer over 20k? Sure why not but if I have to wait until Spring that's okay too.

In July I sold my 01 E-430 4-matic private sale for $23,000. It had 38,000 and was in pristine condition. Had standard options but not fully loaded.

I was adressing taylor210

on his calling out about the ca market.
You have been called out already, with an 04 at 31tho miles listed for not much more then your high ball price and your listing a full 6k over the average dealer price and almost 8k over private party in this market in that price range nearly dictates a cash buyer. So when the offers come in please have the nads to post the results
N.Y. or CA. the market for an 02 is not where you set,it is where the market finds the customer.

and to the guy that got over 20g for his 01,you found that rare chump and he is still kicking himself in the ****.

kbb and nada are what dealers use to price a car so that if they budge ,you the customer feel like you got a great deal. The private party price is a whole nuther world and you will soon awaken to it.

2002 MERCEDES E430 SPORT EDITION - $16000 amg package new england

Forget comparison pricing to what a dealer lists the car for sale, they are praying on those who need to finance and are clueless to the fact that they are over paying and upside down on the deal the moment the customer drives off the lot.

Ohlord,
some people do not care about your definition of "overpaying" for a vehicle that has relatively low mileage and has the options that they want. You posting the bottom dollar amounts from craigslist or autotrader is not really an accurate comparison, since they may or may not have the same options and history as the car the OP posted. I am not sure why you feel it is your obligation to thread crap. Leave the guy alone, he is selling HIS car and I am not sure what you are trying to accomplish by thread crapping. Some people do not have the same motivations as you to scour the interent to find the cheapest price for a vehicle. There is some added value for a highly optioned car with full dealer documents that cannot be quantified with your vanilla comparisons. Low mileage vehicles, that have a documented service history, and that are in pristine condition are hard to find, and the OP has such a vehicle.

Wrong

on all points.
Mercedes Benz E500 SUPER CLEAN 21MPG HWY - $22000 31,000 miles mint condition .An E500 fully optioned ,fewer miles, one year newer, dealer maintained ,all records, clean carfax.new england
I am not by any means bottom fishing the market,I am pointing out the market. If he nor you can't take the heat or the comments when pricing a car with off the wall amounts, then stay out of the kitchen.Low mile cars in as good or better condition with fewer miles and newer model year are on the market all over the country for less money.
What is wrong in letting someone know their offering is to high?He is going to take his lumps sooner or later.By pricing it properly in the first place the lumps taken will be fewer and gentler.
I guess we just need to agree to disagree on this issue and see what time and market demand decree.
ohlord
BTW the M112 v6 is still the better engine in comparison to the M104

how many of those cars are silver on black with the same options and less miles? post the links......At the end of the day you are always looking to get a deal, for some people its not worth the aggrevation. Also you have not posted the "hands down" more torque figures (m112 vs m104) as yet. Include that link as well.

not everyone is a bottom feeder? hmmm. I think there are more than a handful of guys on this forum that make you look like a bottom feeder. I don't understand where some people get off?

I think is nothing else your incredible charm and people skills will sell this car.

Husk

the 03 E500 listed above has fewer miles is one year newer is silver on black,is an E500 to boot, fully optioned, dealer maintained, and in his market area.Time will tell how much he gets in this Buyers market.

The m112 powered w210 will walk a m104 w210 everyday of the week, and that is not because it is lighter it is because the torque curve is wider across the most useful range on the m112 engine.

another east coast listing of the more desirable E500 year newer fewer miles, more options
2003 E500,Pewter,Dark charcoal leather,34,000 miles, sport package, parktronic,
Harmon Kardon factory stereo with single cd, sport seats, sunroof, fold down rear seat, adjustable suspension, new battery. Purchased with 1,000 miles in August 2003. MB warranty until August 2010, very fast, clean car. I had the brakes, rotors and oil changed less than 2,000 miles ago. Adult driven 3rd car. (no smoking, kids, juiceboxes, cookies, candy etc.) I haven't driven the car much the past 2 months with the bad weather and salt on the roads, so I don't have any pictures right now. Feel free to email me and I'll try to get some later this week. Or call me at 201-251-8480 evenings or 973-366-0356. Steven.$22,000 obo
on average a 2003 E500 private party will sell in the above range
a 2002 E430 about 7 grand less.Like I sai time will tell.

The m112 powered w210 will walk a m104 w210 everyday of the week, and that is not because it is lighter it is because the torque curve is wider across the most useful range on the m112 engine.

Harmon Kardon factory stereo with single cd, sport seats, sunroof, fold down rear seat, adjustable suspension, new battery. Purchased with 1,000 miles in August 2003.
The 2003 E500's were one of the most unreliable Mercedes' ever made. Why are you comparing a completely different car to the E430 in question? Stay on topic and do an apples to apples comparison. You said that the OP is asking way above market for his vehicle, so show us what the market is for a 2002 E430 with sport package, silver on black with the same options and similar miles. Produce a link for a car with the same options, and less miles for cheaper. It looks like you can't.
