"OHLORD"----The wise one!!!

Heres an off topic question---- on the wrong page (I know)!!!
I am trying to find out, if these rims: https://mbworld.org/forums/wheels-tires/247304-auto-couture-insignia-20-a.html

would fit a '00 S430?
The front wheel is 10 inches wide and from the mount to the back edge it is 5 3/4 inches deep. They have a 2 1/4 inch lip.

The rear wheel is 12 inches wide and from the mount to the back edge it is 7 1/4 inches deep. The rear has a 3 3/4 inch lip.

Any ideas?!?

Ah dude, the chrome is peeling and with curb rash? Proper chrome plating should never peel. I would pass.

I own a 1999 W210 Mercedes.
They are over priced for the condition. Consider all the extra money you'll spend on tires and correcting the rim. Ride quality will also be an issue.
I would also pass...

I think

the above wise members have said almost all.
Chrome is not a wise move on any mercedes rim,it chips, flakes, and most importantly leads to leaks, just like the old chrome valve covers on a small block chevy
The offset is wrong and if you research the new ultra cool c63 you might note that in the U.S. they are not offering 20's like they do in Europe because of the ride quality and wheel damages associated with our road systems. That about says it all to me on the issue of 20's.
For what he is asking someone could pick up some nice 18's with the proper offsets with tires from places like tirerack or discount tire,in highly polished aluminum.
even at twelve hundred dollars the guy is way off the mark and should just accept his huge loss and sell them for about $600 to some kid that does not know they are not even worth that much.

Ever raced on Fountain Ave, or Conduit? I know they were big in the 60's 70's.
Another hot spot was Francis Luis Blvd and 150 st. by JFK airport....its all over nowadays, but I heard that Deer Park in LI is still popping........
