My Benz won't start
I have a 1998 E320 Mercedes Benz. It has been sitting for about 3 weeks. I went to take it out for a drive this morning and NO START!! I put the key in and it beeps and when I turn the key I just hear a click. I have lights, radio, windows go up and down, could this still be a battery problem?? What do you think???

Charge the battery
You can have full headlights in a w210 and not have enough to start the car.
Start there.

10amps overnight, key out,use the charging post under the hood.

I'm having a similar problem with a 2000 E320 4Matic. I checked the battery and it is okay. Here's the problem...you can crank the car cold but after it has run a little it will
not restart. It will turn the starter just fine but not start. If you let it cool down for a while it will crank okay...Is this an oxygen sensor problem?

Hello, All
I have a 2000 E320 with over 205,000 miles in southern California. Car recently started hesitating and dying at stops. Now engine cranks, but won't start (it previously started if I let it sit overnight).
Codes shown are P010 (MAF-Mass Air Flow Sensor),*
P0306, P0305. P0304, P0300 (misfires),
P0110 (IAT-Intake Air Temp Sensor) and*
P0700 (Transmission).
Since earlier I was able to start using ether starting fluid, I replaced fuel filter. Ran fine for over 1,000 miles, then problem worsened.
I cleaned MAF (Thanks for DIY.) It started, ran better w/o hesitation about 10 min, then died again. (2nd ride home on tow truck.)
Suggestions appreciated (Crankshaft Position Sensor?)

Thanks for your response, Plutoe.
Codes I listed are total codes in the computer. I just bought the OBD2 CReaderV and have not yet reset any codes.
I have no idea how long codes have been in system. Check engine light just came on recently.

I have an e420. It's been sitting for 8 months. I bought a new battery and added 2.5 gallons of gas (the first time i tried starting I didn't realize the gas was empty) Still no start
It sounds like it's about to start! I hear everything it just wont fully turn
I tried stepping on the gas a little and still. What do you guys think is wrong? Should I add more gas?

freeze frame data? I just don't have time. Should I just call Mercedes roadside? Or is that a stupid stealership idea? ahahah. Man what happened to good battery, good starter, good gas and you're good to go? ahahaha
