Whats a good a tire pattern for the e430?
i want to get h&r premiums with koni shocks from tire rack,
should i go with 18's or 19's? dont want to ruin ride quality
245s in the front? with 265s in the rear sound good?
so the drop will be 1.4

This is the drop/wheels/tire sizes I am running and my ride is great! I was running Kuhmo Supra Ecstas, but the rears only lasted 7 months!

Not sure if you're planning to get an alignment (you should!) after you change out the suspension, but you will likely need to get the eccentric bolts to minimize the camber changes after the spring change. This goes for front and rear.
The rears are going to have more negative camber and the only way to improve the tire life is to get adjustable lower control arms.
As for tires, I've got Pirelli Pzero nero front and rear. Same size tires as Red66GT. We got about 20K out of them which is pretty good given the -1.5 camber in the rear.
Also, not sure which spring pads you're using since this can also effect the overall drop too.

Please guys, save yourselves the headache and buy some rear camber arms. Your tires will last much longer, especially if you lower and/or put 18s or 19s.

You don't want 245's on the front
and lensolo is running real slow on delivery of his custom rear links so you might want to order them early and wait to do the drop and do it right.
30 et front 35 et rear lensolo camber links rear eccentric camber bolts front or k-mac front and rear.

x eleventeen on the camber arms! I learned the hard way because I heard some people need em and some dont. Once you do the drop, park your car on a level surface, then put a level flush with your wheel face and see how angled your rear wheels are......it's a huge difference.

Thanks for posting that. How many arguments have I been involved in with guys that say the have no problems with dropping the w210 and they don't install camber adjustment parts or even feel the need to get a proper alignment.
Cheaper to do it right the first time than to pay for tires on a yearly basis and suffer poor road manners.
