They'd be going on a '98 E320 wagon. I believe these would be the right offset, etc.?

Yes, you they will fit perfectly without any modifications, spacers hub rings and such.
You might need new bolts, we have them in stock in chrome for $20, you can add them in your order through the website. Your car has the 12mm bolts not the 14mm.
