e320 2002 wagon 4matic
What's the best set of Springs and Lower Kit for a 2002 e320 4matic wagon?
So is there a lower kit available for my wagon and what are the best springs to use?

99' E320 4MATIC ESTATE / 92' 190E 2.6
I put 17's on 45 series ( from 05'-06' e500) and filled the wheel wells without affecting the ride. If you really want to lower it/ sell the 4matic and buy A non 4matic /// my opinion only. Cost me $750 for takeoffs with new Michelin pilots. had to buy lug nuts...perfect fit with no rub...

tmandel,
235/45 R 17 is the correct factory size upgrade for these cars.
I have a set of "Mekab" on mine, that came with some of the E 430 Sport. I got them from eBay in great shape. Besides the looks, I like the fact they're very easy to wash and do not hold much brake dust. In addition they have a straight polished outer rim that do not take regular counterweights (which I hate), but stickies only. Hope that helps.
Cheers

A,
a Lorinser kit is no longer sold.
B. 235/45/17's don't lower it they just stuff a little bit more rubber into it.
C.It (a wagon )has self leveling rear shocks.
Nobody sells sport(short travel)sport self leveling shocks.
D. Cut the springs or remove the self leveling rear shocks and install a conventional ps pump and sport rear shocks.

A.
his is a sedan.
B. OP has a wagon with self leveling shocks.
no short travel shocks sold in self leveling.
cut half a coil(cold cut plenty of cooling oil) and call it good.
4matic wagons are neither cheap nor easy to do any other way.I think if you call
lorinser you will find out that since that post of almost a year ago they no longer make them even for the w210 sedan

Guys, I'm in the same boat, I need to lower the front so it sits even with the rear, I'll be cutting the springs in the front within the next week or 2 as soon as I can find a proper spring compressor.
heres how it looks now, I HATE the reverse rake, the trunk is empty...
