A few pics of my ride (with a friend)
Got some clear bumper markers in, H&R springs (~1.25" drop) and the wheels all on after doing my 60k service. Friend's ride is a 2003 BMW e46 M3 in steel gray with LED tail lights and carbon fiber splitters. I came from an e30 M3 and still enjoy BMWs a lot. Sorry the quality isn't the greatest, we only have a point and shoot between us :

I didn't notice much of a change either when I installed them. It is lower, but I don't think its the full 1.25". I am using the stock spring pads, any leads on where to get different ones?

spring pads are dealer parts...$10-20 each. the thicker ones seem to pricier
(which is annoying to me for such a primitive part and just rubber).
i would have to agree that something is askew, ie H&R lowering springs having
barely changed your ride height. it should have resulted in a 1 finger gap.
how many miles back did the spring swap occur? do you recall the H&R part #s?
p.s. ohlord was referring to a mod my back was crying for. i had the take off,
multi-contour seats from an E55 installed, in place of the std 99 E320 slap
seats. my back is so much more appreciative.

I will get a hold of the dealer and see what I can do for the spring pads. My stock ones are were pretty thick IIRC, at least 2 inches.

pics look great, btw.
unfortunately, unless you discover something unusual, the swap out of the pads,
at best, will only result in about a .5-.75" more drop. do you recall what the
finger gap was before the spring change....perhaps a a before pic?

I believe it was around or maybe a little over 4 fingers of gap before. Now its between 2, almost 3. Another .5-.75" would be fine for me, I don't need to slam it. Are the pads only for the front?

i'm not a fan of slammed either, unless is for specialty purposes. i still need
the car to survive and safely navigate the horrible streets of seattle. con-
sequently, i only lowered mine by an inch and a scootch. i'm at one finger,
or, 13.25" hub center to arch/rear, and 13" front

Thats a sweet looking 210. Like the wheels alot. But I must admit I only looked because I thought there might be a girl in a bikini along with your car....."with a friend".

I put the #1 spring pads in, and its not really any lower. The fronts were #5s and the rears were #4. Is it possible there is something else not allowing the car to go any lower? Maybe the shocks are too compressed?
