Side mirror upgrade W210 96, cabling
Hi,
Just bought these

And try to find how to cable this stuff.
My old side mirrors dont have blinkers on, what is the shortest way to hack into the blinker system, the little one on the side in the front of the front door?
If so, how do i access that wire the most easiest way? Or are there easier ways to plug them in?
The entrance light shouldnt be hard, just a wire down to the existing entrance light on the door underside?
Last, is it relatively easy to remove the door sidepanel?

Easy to do ...Locate the wire harness LEFT and RIGHT sides under the interior door sill carpets as it runs inside the car on both sides under the door sill carpet area..locate the turn signal wire in the harness and tap into it for the turn signals on model updated mirrors

if you're lucky, there will already be unused wiring up in the mirror connecting
block leading down into passenger compartment, near your feet. removal of
the kick panel is fairly easy but I recall having to drop the panel beneath the
dash....and roll back the carpet before I could remove the kick panel.
this is where you could locate a ground connecting point.
the door sill is the long thin panel within the door opening. carefully (!) pry up
a little, then pull straight up towards the roof to free. it contains about half
dozen very strong pinch clips....which grasp the compartment floor sheet metal
joints.
now that you have this opened, you can see the wiring bundle.
how I located the turn signal is to use a volt meter. i grounded black lead. i
secured a clothing stick pin to the red lead and poked through the insulation
to confirm the turn signal wire....which would give you oscillating/deflecting
voltage.
you would think you could use this method but it is flawed: go into the rear
tail light and identify the wire to the turn signal. note insulation color code
and try and locate it under the cabin sill. the problem is that by the time the
wire is up in the cabin, it undergoes a color code change. I don't remember
what/how.
but here are my notes from that otherwise, basic/simple Do-It-Yourself project.

Im doing the paintjob on the housings now, plan to install them this weekend...
Any clue if there exists any LED Flasher Relay for my car w210 96, or a easy fix for rapid flashing issue?

there won't be a flasher problem since you are not removing any factory bulbs but simply tapping into the rear signal. post pics when you're done!
