DIY radiator flush
Okay I know I know... I had a coolant issue low on the side of the road i added tap water.... Its approaching winter and I'm draining the radiator I have the appropriate antifreeze but and I found info and video to do the flush or radiator drain. I can't get the cover off I believe its a 9mm i got two of the fasteners off with but I'm not sure to get the rest off. I got the car with 255k on it so the faseners are not in the best shape and its snowing... Just started and it hasn't been anywhere the freezing point lately but its towing the line now so i wanted to fix it before it gets worse. All help and advise is more than welcome thanks a million in advance... Oh and this site is so much better than the Z site I use to be on

Depending if the rear (smaller) noise panel was mounted under or over the front panel you may want to at least loosen the pair at the back of the second panel when removing the front one.
I know most people use distilled water (I do) but MB recommends ordinary tap water unless you have very hard water such as from a well in the Nevada desert.
