Thanks man, the w210 is my queen. I just lover her so much, she is a pleasure to drive. I love your car as well man you chose the best colour for the w210
, love the euro plate on the front im actually contemplating running custom euro plates front and rear since my car is registered in mexico i can pretty much get away with anything my trunk and front bumper are drilled for an euro plate as well since it was a special import into mexico back in 97 for a famous football player. He canceled his order and my dad took delivery of her in Mexico City.

I just used my cell phone. I actually like how its was shakey with the lighting. This summer I think I'll wax it up and take my good camera out for some nice ones.
cut another half coil for the fronts

- Leave them in as is. Like I did. Only problem is they are exposed and vulnerable to damage and quicker burning out. First deep puddle or really rainy day and I'll probably short them out.
I can't wrap them with tape since they will heat and the adhesive will cause them to blow.
- Order LEDs and tape/cover them up. This is what I'm doing. The LEDs that provide the proper resistance are backordered til next week. You need to get LEDs that are "CANBUS compatible".
- Put a resistor in there. I'm not handy with a soldering iron so no go.
- Take 'em out and deal with the error code being present. I'm too OCD for that!
The trick is that you need to provide the system with a proper load so the CANBUS thinks there's something there. As far as I know you can't hack the system at the code level without some pretty intense tools and knowledge to convince it to ignore the sidemarkers. So you have to just give it what it wants, which is resistance.
I'm actually going to fashion covers from film canisters to cover up the LEDs. The reason I'm using LEDs is because they shouldn't burn out. I don't want to have to crawl under and undo a bunch of tape and plastic all the time.
However, I'm really liking the look. The old strip looked like hell anyways so it was a definite step up. I found an OEM one on eBay. It was black but I had my guy paint it.
From the front you would think I'm driving a European-issue Avantgarde, not a US-market W210. Of course the dead giveaways are the trunk and instrument cluster. And no, I'm not going to order a European trunk lid

Lug Bolts
Hey siopaolover,
I did it, found a set of Brabus Monoblock IV's, 18 x 8.5 ET 35, on eBay and I bought them! They've got a little wear and some scratches, but they look pretty good with the P Zero Neros mounted on them. Only problem is, my existing lug bolts aren't long enough to work. They came with hubrings on two wheels and spacers (10mm?) on the other two. The guys putting them on ordered up longer bolts, but they ordered 12mm x 40, which would have been OK for a W210, but my baby is a 2003 E320, a W211, and it takes 14mm lug bolts. We're having a beatch of a time finding the right lug bolts to work.
Any of you Brabus Benz dudes or dudesses have any ideas about where I can get the correct sized lug bolts? Any and all help will be appreciated and worth a virtual brewski or two.
Thanks,
Wipster

Thanks a bunch, can't wait for the first 100 MPH!
Awesome! I had the same problem lol. I had conical bolts, when the wheels require ball seat. It's unsafe to use the wrong seat bolt because it doesn't fit properly in the wheel.
Here's an explanation to wobble bolts:

hit 100 mph safely man!
