Well it is basically what you would compare a W204 C300 to a W204 C63 AMG, but just 190E's. Some of the main differences are the following.
Has a dogleg transmission
LSD
Individual headers
Recaro Interior
SLS suspension in the rear
Tighter steering ratio
9.7:1 compression with more power NAM was around 167 HP
The head was designed by Cosworth
Body kit obviously (which actually reduced drag)

I was handed down this car when I turned 16 and have been driving it for the past two years. A wagon wasn't really my ideal choice but you take what's given to you and I've learned to love it… At least it's a Benz. Plus, I can transport my race go kart in a climate controlled environment because of the wagon's large cargo space.
Just know that because my car is 15 years old, it's the one driving like a teenager, not me.
It just hit 201k miles but it still pulls strong.
I'd like to update the wheels and lower it but I haven't seen too many modified desert silver w210's to get a good perspective on a finished product… In all practicality it will probably just stay stock.

Here is my w210 its a 1997 E-420 Sport Avantgarde fully optioned out. She just turned 50,000 miles a couple days ago i am the second owner, the first were my parents. The car was abandoned for 4 years since my parents moved to Vancouver Canada and the car stayed back home. They were getting rid of it for a steal because the car would not start. After a new fuel pump, fuel tanks drain, tire change the car was mine for a steal with only 25k miles . I love this car, i loved it when my parents got it back in 97 and we picked it up at the dealer and i love it even more today. The car has proven to be nothing but reliable and comfortable and if something goes wrong its always easy to diagnose and DIY.
Only thing's done to the car are:
-ECU Reflash (done by my dad so i have no idea what company)
-AFE pro dry filter
-E55 muffler, resonator delete, magnaflow high flow cats
-Bilstein Shocks
-E-55 monoblocks original and in mint condition
-Alpine Stereo
-Oem Rubber mats
I am a maintenance freak so i change fluid's like crazy. Oil every 5k miles / Diff & Tranny every 20k miles.
Better pics soon i promise
How she now sleeps when she is not in use:
