98 E430 brake upgrade
Hello. Does anyone know if there is a bolt on brake upgrade for these cars. The brakes are terrible under sized and the solid rear rotors are horrendous as far as squealing goes.

Thanks, but that doesn’t answer the question. And I’m a tech at a dealer so there is nothing wrong with them other than they are undersized for the job they were designed to do!

w203 C55 calipers will bolt on the front (will fit under 17inch rims), there are some others that will fit like CL500 and maybe E500 w211 etc. Search will help a lot.

Perfect! Thanks. I’ll have to do some digging and get some parts together.
do you use the same rotors with the calipers? Is the spacing OK for the caliper to go over the rotor?

You have to use different rotors. The rotors you use will depend on the calipers you choose, when I had cl500 calipers I had to space them a little with washers to get the rotor to align properly,.
