Well...Picked it up this afternoon
I'm now the proud owner of a Brillian slvr/charcoal E500 4matic. many thanks to all those that take the time to post information on this great site!
Having come from a Lincoln LS, and having looked at the Caddy STS and Infinity M45, all i can say is with the $ 4500 rebate the E500 had, i got it at pretty much the same price as the other two cars and there is NO COMPARISON as to which one is the best built. Lets just hope it holds up!
Anyway, right off the bat i think the biggest issue i'm going to have is with the numbnut who designed the steering wheel controls to NOT go from radio memory position but to seek instead. Someone please tell me there is a fix on the way for this...

Get used to NOT choosing your preset stations on the wheel.... There is no fix........ (yet).

That is a sweet ride. Both of them.
Steering wheel controls...every car has it's quirks, and this is one of them. If you're going to put telephone controls on the wheel, what's the point of putting a separate control stalk on the steering column.

Its going to be a nice weekend. I'm breaking open the Zano shortly and will be cranking some tunes and drinking some brews (while detailing - not driving!) and then taking it out for a nice ride.

I was a proud C5 (corvette) owner when i first learned about Zaino. The stuff is simply great! Anyway, just got my first coat on, nothing like the slipper shine! Now its off to a wedding which is unfortunately 80 miles away

Congrats on the car first thing. Secondly, save your money and get some Meguiars NXT line of products. They are just as good as Zaino if not better and they cost a considerabley less.
