Just out of curiosity I just looked for my spare wheel/tire only to find that I don’t have one! Why???

I think you have run-flat tires. If you don't have them, then they stole your spare :-)

that was my first thought in that, that was the situation with my BMW 545 that I just sold (came with run flats)...dont think my 350 did (sold them gone now)...I've read here about a tire inflator kit...oh well calling the dealer to find out whats up...Im sure its a simple answer and Im just not aware of it

Please don't think I'm being obnoxious, but when you lift the black fiberboard cover in the trunk, you are in an area where you will see a bowl shaped indentation moulded into a large thin piece of plastic. MB calls it a place for additional luggage items... I think its a neat place to keep the pockebook with all the manuals. Anyway, you must remove that bowl shape false floor, under which is located the spare tire well and your battery. If you can't see the battery, you aint in the right place... and if you CAN see the battery, and you can't see the spare tire & jack & tool kit, then you are missing your stuff.

But DO let us know!

With your car, you could probably rush home before all the leaks out anyway!

OK found my tire…at the alignment shop / After lowering the car I figured an alignment was in order and had some adjustable front camber plates (I think that is what they are called) installed…long story short…for god knows what reason they had the spare out and neglected to put it back in.
