Erebuni AMG Style Body Kit..Deal or No Deal

I was wondering if any of the members here have one of these kits. It looks identical to the E55 kit but I am not sure about the quality. I would really like to see a pic of it on and finished before deciding.

To any members that have this was it worth it or should I go with the Real one?

I have Parktronic on my car will the fake bumper affect it?

How is the fit and finish?

Does anyone know where to get a Real AMG Kit for less than the dealer?

I do not live in CA. How much to ship? For $4500 I could get 4 Erebuni kits.

Erebuni = CRAP!!! I’ve seen their kits either warp or crack. Fitment is shoddy. Even back in my import tuner days, they were considered entry level body kits. Just remember, you get what you pay for.

STAY AWAY FROM EREBUNI. THEIR KITS ARE CRAP.

You will spend so much money trying to fix their CRAP you will regret not buying from a reputable tuner.

Thanks for your input. I will go with the real kit. My car is still under warranty and do not want to have any problems. I would like to add the Real AMG package and some of the w220 S65 wheels. The color of my car is Tectite Gray and I think these two things will make my E500 4M look alot better. My previous car was a 2001 CLK430 and I miss the AMG body kit and wheels.

The real deal is the way to go. You really don't want to bother with the fitment issues of poorly constructed body kits.

W220s use a different offset. You need SL65 wheels for your W211.

Thanks for your advice. I would like to get the wheels first. I was wondering if the SL65 Gunmetal wheels will continue to be produced. A new CL is coming and will probably have the w221 style S65 wheels. Does anyone know if the facelifted 2007 SL65 has the same gunmetal wheels as last year? Or should I wait for this spring/summer to see if the CLS63/E63 wheels will be nicer. I do really like the gunmetal wheels but I don't want to spend money on a wheel that will look dated in 2008 when I trade for S550 4M. Any advice will be appreciated.

Whatever you do don't buy them at the stealer. Last time I checked the price was $2600 per wheel.
Your best bet is ebay. You should be able to find a nice take off set for $4000-$5000.

Another good source is Tirerack.
