Recall Campaign 2020040011 6/20 – 2001-2011 203, 209, 211, 219 adhesion of the bonding between the glass panel and the sliding roof frame could deteriorate leading to a separation of the glass panel from the vehicle, dealer will replace the sliding roof. Approximately 641,843 vehicles affected.
Phase-2 released 7/20 sliding roof is replaced base on production date.

SO what was the consensus on Mercedes benz of canada considering these recalls, especially ones like SBC[thats the electric hydraulic braking isnt it?]

I thought it best to list this info in one place for better referencing. I will update this thread if and when new campaigns are released (relevant to the E & CLS).
Make sure to call your dealer and ask them to check VMI to see if your vehicle is included. Have your VIN handy when you call.
Recall Bulletins
These are government mandated and are received by MBUSA from DCAG. These recalls are monitored for completion (by the dealer) and have to be completed in 2 weeks time. Recalls never expire. Customers are contacted (i.e.: letter), and vehicles are repaired as soon as possible.

Yes. There's multiple sites where you can punch in your vin to see if there are any recalls. Extended warranties like SBC are different than recalls.
