I have a wagon. My LED tails part numbers:
211-820-15-64 and 211-820-16-64
Installation is straight forward, but I'll be able to testify accurately once I actually do it...

I received the puck and cradle today, and the install was a breeze. The hardest part was removing the teleaid connection.
Anyway, once I installed, I paired my blackberry pearl phone which was also easy. However, I am not able to get anything through the mic and speakers. Although I have not yet brought my car in for version coding, according to Lifeguards experiences, he was able to get his to work.
Has anyone else installed yet, and got theirs to work prior to version coding?

I've got a Euro Comand w/ a V60 BT Puck.
I am able to manually input addresses + Phone #s on my COMAND in the SERV menu - Address Book menu.
My Blackberry Pearl's address book does not get downloaded. I popped my SIM card in my buddy's MDA, and the phonebook did not download - What do I have to do in order to get it to download?
Anyhow, Enjoy your BT madness

No, I don't have the euro comand. Regarding the removal of the teleaid connector, I frankly couldn't figure it out. It doesn't just pull out. It looks like there is something you can push in, and then pull the connector out, but it is located under the lip of of the connector, and on the opposite side of the connect that is accessible, if that makes sense. Very difficult to access.
Anyway, after about ten minutes fiddling around with this, I decided to just pull out the faceplate part that is still attached to the teleaid connector, and make the drill modifications that way. You have to disconnect to disconnect the false floor from the base plate, via the two prongs. Then you can pull out the false floor far enough away to drill the proper holes.
Put something underneath of course unless you want a few extra ventillation holes in your dynamic seats.

I was reading that the Euro version of the VCS is called Linguatronic(or something similar) and it has MANY useful verbal comands that the U.S. Version does not have.
Is it true?
Can I get it installed on my U.S. Car with a Euro Comand in it?
Are there many MBs in Brazil?

FYI You can save some more cash by using the BMW BT Puck. I posted my experience this morning.

I haven't gotten it to work yet, although I have not tried again. I will be on vacation for the next week and a half. Then I was going to bring it in for the version coding, and see if that fixes it, or else then have them get it to work.
The puck is definitely pairing with my Blackberry pearl. I am just not getting anything over the speakers, or hearing anything from the mic.

Very High Interest in this thread
From the over 1,400 views of this thread, it is obvious that this area is very interesting to forum members. I guess we all just want a reasonably priced system that will work with bluetooth capability with any phone, and use the command system of microphone, speakers, heads up display, etc. It sounds like Argos MIGHT be the answer. Time will tell.
My dealer installed cradle system works well, however my Motorola Benz v710 phone is getting intermittent when in the cradle, due to scoring of the brass contacts. Not looking forward to paying for a replacement.
My wife's car has no cradle install and she uses a different type of phone. Argos might work for her car.

I did the install last night and went to the dealer this morning and they turned it on.
I am using a Pocket PC phone and it works amazing (no phone book although, the most important numbers if previously dialed stay in the command). It is this one:

Thanks to everyone for the thread!!!

Took mine in this morning for version coding and everything is working except for the microphone. I had to leave the dealership so they couldn't get to figuring out why, but I suspect that the configuration wasn't set properly to reflect that the voice command box was not installed.
Anyone have any ideas why the mic would not work? I'll have to take it back in later when I have more time. But I love how all the buttons on my command now work! I like how you can dial right from the unit--seems cool. I'm real close...
Also, those LEDs DO NOT work with wagons. Jaime was wrong on this one. They tried reprogramming the SAN module and it still did not like the LEDs. Oh well, gotta see if he'll take them back.

The voice control?
If I bought the part and installed the box and the stalk, is that it? Will it work instantly or will I have to get something turned on?
Also, in the PDF, where does the voice control module go? I can't seem to figure out where that goes?

You ordered the voice control module? The rest of us didn't...it's optional. If you installed the stalk and box, that is the voice control system. I don't think the dealership coded mine properly. In the PDF it says you have to modify the MOST configuration to reflect the components which are actually installed. By default, the configuration seems to include all components. Since I don't have the VCM then they should have modified the configuration...

No, I haven't ordered it - I am thinking about getting it.
My question is, if I buy it now. Is it a plug and play install or do I need to have something else coded?
Also, do you know where the actual module gets plugged in? Is it in the trunk? The armrest? I can't tell in the PDF.

IT's not plug and play, if I understand the MOST config properly. They have to include it in the series of software connections they make when coding your car. It gets installed in the trunk area next to the compensator.
Let me ask you, when you took yours in for coding, did you tell them you did a self-install and that you didn't install the VCM?
I didn't tell them that, and I think they must have assumed I had all the components installed...

Bluetooth Phone Book
One cool thing I did last night was this..
On my pocket pc I picked, send contact info via Bluetooth. It then asked the device and i picked the Mercedes handsfree and then voila, the contact stayed in my phonebook..
So for all of you out there see if there is a way to send your contact via bluetooth and your command will keep it in memory forever.
Pretty cool...

However, I did get one response to an email I sent them through their website.
You might want to try that....

Jaime was sick for a couple days and got behind. You can call Hammersly's direct number and ask for parts. You'll get a different guy, but he can help. I don't have that number but just go to hammersley.com and you'll find it.
I just sent him the LEDs he sold me which didn't work on my wagon. He didn't return my calls, but when I called the main number, the gentlemen who answered just asked me to send them back, that Jaime was out sick...
