they have great feedback and make for a wide variety of brands (pertaining to both).
For under $630 together - seems like a pretty good deal. I know axxis pads are good.. and i love the look of the cross drilled/slotted rotors.
Opinions please! Maybe even if someone bought any of these products what do you think about them, or if anyone can get both pads/rotors cheaper then $630 please let me know here, or via PM.
Bought these and had them installed. They looked and worked great together with the Porterfield pads that I bought.
The iRotors guys are extremely helpful and mean business. Buy with confidence!

I purchased these rotors for my E500 a couple of months ago, Februrary I think. I also had new OEM Pagid pads installed on all 4 corners at the same time. At first, I was extremely pleased. The car stopped quickly, smoothly and quietly. But after about 2000 miles, the brakes starting getting grabby, especially in traffic. The fact that our cars have SBC, didn't help either. The SBC braking system is hard to modulate in traffic anyway. Fast forward to 4000 miles. The car has become annoying to drive with these brakes. The steering wheels shimmies while braking as well as the entire front end. It looks like at least one of the rotors, if not more, is warped already. I contacted iRotors and was told that since I was past my 30 day warranty, they wouldn't replace them but they'd be more than happy to sell me another set at a discount. No thanks. So, it looks like another complete 4 corner brake job after only 4K miles. Great, super.

richard hk what car model and miles do you have on them??
can any other guys give their opinion... many of you must of bought your own rotors... pads im not so worried about.. axxis is good stuff or even if i go with OEMS.

anyone have any suggestions with links or what have you.
It's greatly appreciated. Thanks

Just wondering why you don't want to use OEM rotors?
The reason I went with iRotors was for aesthetics only. I don't track the car so the OEMs are more than suitable for my daily driving needs. If you don't need high performance rotors, I would say stick with OEM. I wish I had.

These rotors look pretty good, will bolt right up, and will most importantly provide OEM quality service. I further don't think they are all that expensive.
Speaking from personal experience, I had challenges and issues with name brand expensive cool looking slotted/drilled rotors and aftermarket pads on my C5 Corvette after about a thousand miles. They would make strange noises when braking, were grabby/tough to modulate in slow traffic, and caused the wheel/car to shake etc. when applied at speed. They were found to absolutely o.k (not warped) when inspected, but re-installing my used OEM parts mysteriously solved all the problems...except for the astetics. I lived without the pretty brakes for the duration of my ownership of that car, which did not have SBC, and had no further brake issues.

I have a 2003 W211 E320 with 40,000km on the odometer.
Note that the brakes are brand new and I have yet to test them. They look great and good value that is for sure.
I am not sure if the the Porterfield brake pads are better than some others, but for one thing I do not see a lot of black brake dust anymore which was very annoying before to clean on my E63 wheels.

My C5 is running drilled slotted that are aftermarket and even after driving the "Tail of the Dragon
" and on the track they still perform like new. I bought "pads/rotors/sensors" from a Mercedes supplier specializing in "new" Mercedes parts for our E500. Suprise I got Bremo pads and rotors that don't have the Mercedes logo/hologram. However the rotors are in a blue box with German name. They supplier told me this is what they
provide to the dealers to service Mercedes. I looked last night to see how much wear on the existing pads with + on the FSS and they will run another 10,000 miles easy so I will wait until later this year to install the.For those with pulsing and rotors not warped, I suspect a build up on the rotor. Did you try a light sanding of the rotor to see if this cleared the issue? Just a thought. Jim
