Will Be Slightly Exceeding My Lease Mileage Estimate
However, after averaging my first 43 days of 90.7 miles per day, then multiplying that
times 730 (2 years) it totals 66,211 miles at the end of two years.
If I subtract the 20,000 allotted miles - that means that I will owe for 46,210 additional
miles. At .25 per mile, I’ll owe them 11,552.
(BUT .. if I continue to use regular gas, I figure - in effect - that will knock 52 off that.)

If worst comes to worst buy the car then sell it privately or try and sell it yourself while its still under lease a few months before lease is up.
back to my C-6. That’s not so hard to do as I love it. Talk about handling -
the Corvette REALLY handles great and is always an “attention getter.”
So, again: you guys are right! I’ve just gone a little nuts over my new 350.
It is time to “mature-out” and settle down again. Maybe I should just have
bought it. But, however it turns out in the end, is how it turns out. For now
I’m just going to enjoy it .. in moderation.

If you had purchased your new car and were going to put 60k miles on it in 2 years, I'm betting it would depreciate more than the 11k you'll have to pay to get out of it at the end.
MB allows you to prepay for miles at a discount and the unused miles are refunded to you. In general it is better not to prepay for miles but look at it on a case by case basis. In my case it came out less expensive to prepay for miles I was certain I'd use.
BMW allows you to call them 6months before lease-end and buy additional miles at a discount (significant savings). From what I've seen, BMW makes leasing the easiest though they are crazy about inflating residuals to keep you in a BMW.
