Yes, I wold buy another. I will either be buying a W212 Diesel and keep my 4-Matic for the winter months or I might buy a Diesel S class if they will sell them in the US. But that is at least 3 to 4 years away. My E has had little issues, but it has been very solid for the last two years (at least). It has actually been better than my W124, and I loved that car.

I can't say enough positive things about my 2007. (13,000 Miles) Its been a thoroughly great car, and a great ownership experience.

I have not been into these cars for long but so far I love it. Ours is a 4matic wagon and it is basically my wifes. I drive a 1965 international 4x4 crew cab pick-up with a motor and transmission I transplanted out of a school bus and dana 60's not quite the same ride quality as the benz. The benz has been a pleasure to work on, it drives great and seems very solid. No problems other than a broken headrest switch. Dealer has been great to deal with on parts, OBD2 computer port is great so I can use existing diagnostic equipment at my shop. Wife loves it which means I get loved
. The day my wife stepped into this car she said she was pretty sure she never wanted to drive anything else (meaning other than a benz) again. So my answer is yes, I would buy a new one tomorrow if they made a 4matic wagon in a diesel for the states. I will continue to grind gears in the old IH while the wife drives in the lap of luxury. The mb has no road noise, the IH not only has noise, it has smell, taste, sight, and feel a true driving experience. I leave the keys in my truck, if you can figure out how to drive it you can have it. Seriously though I love the benz.

I'll admit I have thoroughly enjoyed my E500. It's 5 years old and runs like a well-oiled sewing machine.
Three of my friends wer so impressed and enamored with my car, that they've bought Es. One friend bought a E320, another bought an E500 (like mine) and one just bought an E320 cdi...
I'd definetely buy another E.....
I'm not that crazy about the S.
But I'd buy a CLS.

Kids are almost out of the house and the next car will probably be a CLS.... If I had to do it again, then yes, I would buy another... 53,000 miles, runs and feels like new....

04 E320
I've only had my 04 E320 a couple weeks now and I'm pretty sure I'd buy another one. Though when I get a newer one I think I'd like to get the CDI... or move up to an S. Though if I do that I need to move into a nicer neighborhood....LOL. The last E I had was a 1990 and there's no comparison.... I love my new car... or new to me car.

I guess i'm the only one that says no, but then again I realize have an 03 model, 02 build. I've had every problem one can imagine. Seriously. I am glad that you guys have had a great experience. However, when I talk to other E class owners at the dealership, they tell me that they have a lot of problems as well.
The Lexus LS 460 hybrid seems dependable and a good "value" relatively.
