Back Emblem Is messed up, Need help
My Star emblem (however you call it) is missing the circle right now. I'm planning on taking it off and ordering a replacement online and was wondering what glue i need to buy to reattach it.

I was under the impression that the center/star emblem in back was hard
tacked into the trunk lid....vs glued. I don't know for sure - just trying to
recall from my notes. at work now so unable to verify.

Star Part # is A2117580058 and 3 grommets for mounting A2019972281. BTW, parts #s hold true through MY08. Type designation is self bonding i.e.: E320.

Yeah people replied! Thanks for the part number i'll go buy the part whenever i pass by the benz dealership (so far away!). As for the Plugs, i hope mine aren't that messed up that i need to buy new ones.

What a coincidence. Last week I saw an E320 with circle missing from emblem on trunk. Was wondering if that was done on purpose?

i doubt it was me, considering your socal and im norcal. i need to stop prolonging my visit to the dealership im tired of driving a mitsubishi
