E/CLS On Screen Parking Sensors/Backup Cam

We just completed a project where we installed a brand new type of parktronic kit where the display info from the rear parking sensors is overlayed onto the reverse camera image. Naturally this requires installing a bakup camera which we did as well. The vehicle also got front sensors with a dedicated display in the factory position.

Here is a link to video of the system in action:

and here are some pics

the price for the whole job installed was $2499.99. The 2009 models are going to be less because they dont need the RGB interface and the install goes a bit quicker. Right now we are working on putting together a kit...

The installations on your web site look very impressive. I noticed you had a way to make to display and control an ipod from the Command screen. Is this something that is intended to work with a 2008 Command on a car that has the optional ipod connector in the glove compartment? If so, do you sell a DIY kit for those who don't live in the Chicago area?

Thanks. The ipod kit you saw was an interfaced piece called a homedock. You can actually buy the homedock at various electronics retailers and what we did was design and build an interface that controls the homedock using the existing car controls. In this case it was a new S class and used the jog controls. It could be added to any model really and in the case of a model like the E the steering controls would be adapted to work the unit much like the way the oem ipod kit works but with the display on the screen. As of right now we dont have an ipod kit for anything but the S but we are working on getting it on the rest of the models over the next few months.

I know this is an old thread, but is this package available/easy to install? I have a 2009 e350 and would love to have this in my car. Please let me know
