Los Angeles Car Show

the new "MAYBACH" is the sh*t. It may be little overpriced $300,000, but the perceived quality is above and beyond other vehicles.

The MB reps told me the nav should be available on e-class in february.

Any "news" regarding 4-matic avialability?

Anyone at the LA auto show ask about 4-matic's availability on the new E? Surely, the Mercedes representatives in Detroit next week should be able to give some updated reports. My questions would be #1, when can orders be placed and confirmed with MBUSA for the new 4Matic E. #2, Will the new E Wagon (which should be on display in Detroit) have 4-matic available from its inception in the US? #3. When will the4-matic E's be availabe here? #4 Is European Delivery available on the 4-matic and if so when can one schedule a build date for European Delivery pick up? #5 Why does the MBUSA build your own site state that the sports package will not be available with the new E 4matic and if it is because of the suspension then can the sports trim (wheels especially) be ordered for the 4matic?

Could someone going to the Detroit show please ask those questions and post any answers? I, for one, would be very grateful.

Actually don't think it's over priced as it's suppose to compete with the Bently's and RR's. Although the interior and engine on this Maybach is just absolutely incredible!

I read a prelim report on the Maybach stating that at 6000 lbs it's been tested at 0-60 in 5.2 seconds.
That's very close to the slowest published times I've seen for the M5, CLK55, E55, etc.
Now that's impressive!

Maybach

Going to the San Jose Auto show later this week.
Will provide any updates pictures that I obtain.
Sure wish I had a G6 to trade for a Maybach or two.

THe RR is supposed to be priced at $330,000, but it has a whole lot more presence than the maybach, with all the power to match. I cannot wait to see one here, they are supposed to be priced at $3.8million HKD, or almost $500K USD. Thats not bad considering singapores price of over $800K USD
