NAVI update pricing.
I am currently on my 8 month of lease of 2008 E-class
and just received card from MB offering to update navi for "just 199.00"...
Is it common to charge customer 200.00 to swap DVD?

Considering it is still under warranty.
Anyone knows what does this "updated DVD" has that my 8 month old doesn't?
Is it just an "updated maps"?
PS. Funny thing is - I hate E-class outdated navi and prefer, if in need, to use
windshield mounted garmin.
NAVI DVDs are always sold to car owners regardless of warranty, car age, or anything else... just like "updating" your tires. You will know when to buy a new DVD by the directions given being wrong due to road construction, and even so, an intelligent person paying attention can "work around" the momentary wrong/missing info unless whole new interstates are added in your area.

)They don't make any updates for the old DX navs (the ones before DVD). Lol, those were burnable and you could just make copies

I'm sorry to hear the DVD NAV systems are pretty bad; I know my old CD one is pretty worthless.
