Anyone have any history with this unit? With 3MBs and oil changes costing a 120.00 a pop, it made sense for me to finally get one of these.

Yep. Same unit I'm using. Makes the oil changes a snap!

Make sure you get the tube all the way to the bottom through the oil dipstick tube and once you hear the sucking air sound you've got it all out.

Yes, I have one of those MityVacs. It works very well. It seems to be the only unit that will hold 8 litres so you don't have to empty the container in the middle of an extraction.
I would recommend using a couple of hose clamps where tubes go into the connector when you try to use the pressure function to empty the container to keep from blowing one of the hoses out of the connector.

That's the one I use for my alternate oil changes.

Who say's we're in a recession?

Clayton is keeping the economy afloat with all these new purchases!

See, Bush leaves office and people are already spending. O.K. at least Clayton is.

HA!

Nobody says I should be spending. The rule in my house is, anytime I or my wife makes a substantial personal purchase, the other one gets an item of equal value. So it ends up being a double whammy.

Needless to say, my wife now has 3 new purses in the last 2 months. WTF does she need so many purses for, I asked her. Her response: "Your car came with wheels when you bought it, right? And how many sets have you gone through?"

I didn't say a word and then made a peanut butter and jelly sandwich.

No such rule here or else I would have been a very very poor man; I just purchase something twice as expensive to make up for her . Having said that, I've reached a dead end; nothing exciting left to purchase.

Just did mine in about an hour.

Would've taken 1/2 that time but some big dummy didn't crack the oil filter or filler cap loose before siphoning and was creating a vacuum against myself. Once I let some air in, the siphoning went sooooooo much faster. For a smart guy, I'm a friggin dolt sometimes.

You're gonna need a filter wrench. These things are not on hand tight, like in every other car I've changed the oil in. That sucker is torqued down.
