W212 Crash Tests (Video)
These seem to just be in-house tests, but kinda interesting. I couldn't help but notice how extra bland and Japanese-y the car looks when in its orange paint and all glammy M-B effects done away with.
The side Test is kind of weak as it's not the rigorous IIHS Test which uses a SUV height imitator, but it looks like this car will perform insanely well in all Tests.

Yeah. No matter how much I try and warm up to it, the rear is something I know I'll never find attractive in the least, even if I do against my will, force myself to like the over-angular look of the rest of the exterior.

1st impact with new wood wheel. Nice.
Next, side impact is with right fore-arm amputee . . . haven't seen that even with NHTSA. Must be some special handi-cap test. Anyone know?

I'll be curious to see if I warm up to it. I've never believed in "warming up to cars" for myself however, as I appreciate and study nice car designs extensively usually, and know right away when I like something. There are just too many elements of the 212 that I find unnatractive and simply mismatched/odd.
For example, the Bangle Bimmers, such as the 5-Series, I hated its looks and design quality when it came out, and haven't warmed up to it at all.

roll over is a +. I wish the insurance safety institute does the roll over test for every one they tested.
