I had 2001 Infiniti I30 when I was 18 and I thought I was the man with my rims and stuff and then a 2006 G35 coupe which I thought I can beat every car with and now my E55 which I can actually beat pretty much every car with lol.

Actually a VERY nice car,I liked the hydraulic settings that were available in it, good build quality, it also had a manual transmission, which was more fun to drive with
(not as luxurious though)

1985 500SEL (1995-2001) - Hand-me-down, with no problems at all (but then again, no fun "gadgets" either). "Totalled" by insurance company after accident.
2002 C240 (2001-present) - Bought in a "hurry" off the lot since I didn't have a car after the accident. Didn't have all the features I wanted, and had numerous problems throughout the years (especially the electrical & wiring), but over time they were eventually solved (most under warranty or recalls, some not). Even though there aren't any more "problems", I'm still not happy about the amount of time, money, and effort I had to go through to get a "reliable" car. Still driving it until I can sell it.
2009 E350 (present) - Finally acheived my dream of buying a W211 w/ AMG Sports Package. I "had" to buy now since MB redesigned the E-Class for 2010, and I do NOT like the new design one bit! Very happy with this car, and very happy to hear reports of increased MB reliability since 2002. I actually was NOT going to consider another MB after my C240 experiences until AFTER I heard numerous reports of "rock-solid" W211 reliability (on this forum, other forums, and first-hand experiences with other W211 owners). I'll give MB another chance, but if they disappoint me again, I'm done with them!

Okay, I've avoided this string long enough. Since it's still going, I feel like I have to report. My buds parents has a '69 280S,which "sold" me on the marque. Bought my first, a '86 190E at college graduation, then '89 300E (gave it to Dad), '05 BMW 330i (hey it's a manual!), now '07 E350 Avantegard. So far so good. Now if only dad will give me the '89 back....

My first car was a Buick..bumped up to an Olds'....after I got my first job I got into rice burners, specifically Nissans (had a good dealer hookup) so I've had a 97 Maxima,01 Maxima ,04 Maxima. Was about to buy the 08 but said wtf is wrong with me I need some AMG power!! So along came E55 in 2008. Will never look back!
