Good choice with 600 vs 55. 600 IS faster than 55.
1st thing I'd do is swap out those tail lights. I hate the 03 - 60 tail lights, the 07+ ones are sweet.

Congrats Clayton ! Nice long drive back to get the feel of the car ( just don't collect a bunch of tickets with that new found power !)
BTW, from the video it doesn't look like a Pano roof is one of the options ? If not, was that not important to you ?
Edit :Did you see this car in person or had it independently inspected before you bought it ?

I was really looking for one with Pano, distronic and parktronic. Those cars are out there, but I couldn't find any in my price range or if I did, the car had a bazillion miles on it. I test drove a Black/Berry SL55 in Baltimore that had to be the biggest hunk of crap on the road. It was that experience that changed my mind a bit. I decided to look for the cleanest, nicest car I could find instead of one with all the bells. Keyless Go was my only must have as the SL600's come pretty well loaded.
Haven't seen the car in person yet. It's kind of a leap of faith on my part but after seeing the video and pictures of the car, it's a risk I'm willing to take. Plus, after speaking with the current owner, an older and apparently wealthy gentleman, I definitely got the warm and fuzzies. I mean, he's put a total of 2500 miles on her in 18 months.
Thanks. After weeks of exhausting, intensive searching, I can say that there probably wasn't a cleaner one in the country for sale.
Funny story. I showed my wife the video of the car last night and she was like "Um, I'm not driving that thing. As **** as you are about the E-Class, there's just no way I'm gonna be responsible for a bird pooping on it or who knows." Exact words. Then she asked for a Range Rover or Porsche Cayenne GTS. **sigh**

There is not much you can really do to this thing: some cosmetics such as wheels and lights. Only thing performance wise is a ecu upgrade and that will give you A LOT of power and an exhaust (but since it's a V12TT it probably already sounds nice, but on the quiet side still).
