Mercedes-Benz Bluetooth Cradle Replacer Adapter.

Mercedes-Benz Bluetooth Cradle Replacer Adapter.

It appears this unit,Part # B67875855, eliminates the need for the Bluetooth Cradle and the V60 Bluetooth adapter.

Any users of this approach?

Yes, I posted there too. The cradle-adapater-replacement seems to be the solution for the 2003-2004 E-class. Other years have other solutions.

It's commonly referred to as "puck with tail". I have the standard cradle with bluetooth puck and it works great. Others have gone with this solution and have had good results. My only qualm is that the puck just flops around in your armrest unless you velcro it down.

I have it in, i put up a home made manual for everyone who is interested. I put mine in within 15 minutes incl. taking the pictures for a step by step manual.

I still have some brand new OEM Puck with tails in my shelf below MSRP.

Then all you have to do is going in to get it enabled via SDS!

SDS! I thought they were disbanded, except for Bill Ayres!

Puck with tail! That sounds pretty kinky.

Mackhack - See my PM -- and Yes, I would like a copy of your installation manual.

Thanks!

P.S. Three in a row - I'm not flooding, it just turned out that way.

I have this installed in my car and I love it...no complaints.

One suggestion: Go to MB FTL to have it version coded...they're the only ones who seemed to know what the hell was going on.

Are you going to the Euroteck GTG Jen? I can show you it there if so.

You like them better than the Pompano shop? What is 'version coded?' and why do I need it?

Euroteck GTG?????? What, when, where?

Thanks!

It is this coming weekend.....

Once you install the bluetooth puck (or have it installed, but its extremely easy), you will need to have the car hooked up to the computer for das version coding. Basically, they will set your teleaid to "phone present" in the computer so your car will recognize the phone via puck.

Yes, I do like MBFTL better than any of the other shops as it seems they are the most competent. Pompano has good customer service, MB Miami is, well, less than desirable to put it nicely. I have no first hand experience with Coral Gables, but it is rather far, nor have I tried PPines. Delray parts guys are idiots on the phone. This is how I wound up at my MBFTL recommendation.

v60 bluetooth

the site http://wireless4mb.com mentions on its compatibale phone list that the v60 bluetooth cradle needs if im using Iphone a firm level v1.1.4 . well the firmware on my iphone is 2.1 and im was about to upgrade it. would the cradle still be able to pair with my phone? Also my wifes moblie is nokia e65 , could it be paired as well "not at the same time with iphone" but would the cradle recognoze it??
