Do have a photo of your W211 with the elegance grill you talk about in a previous post. I am strongly considering ordering one for my E500 but have never seen one installed. A photo would really help me out.

Thanks in advance.

yyzmb,

Here is the web site:

http://www.globalautoshop.com./accessories/automotive/benz_index.htm

Click on the W211 section.

W211 Elegant Grill = $248
Chromed headlight rings = $148
Flush mount MB emblem = $31

The grill installation took me 5 minutes, just remove the 5-6 screws and reinstall the new grill with the same screws. The most difficult part was glueing the center star with the supplied black silicone glue. That process took me about 10 minutes to glue the start, very easy. I was very happy with the quality of the grill, it is literally the same MB OEM grill that is modified to hold the center star.

Chromed headlight rings are plastic. They came with foam adhesive that wer already on the rings. Just clean the headlights and peal and stick on. They are marked for the correct sides.

Flush mount MB emblem took me another 5 minutes to install. Just unscrew the original emblem from under the hood and the new flush mount is a direct bolt on, very easy.

I waited a month to get the parts due to the fact that they were producing and shipping the items from Germany.

I was driving down heavy traffic area the other day and this guy in a brand new S500 was literally driving in from of me looking at my grill instead of the road. He looked kind of pissed that he didn't have a center star on his S500.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

Frank

2010 E550
Those mods look great! Just enough subtle difference to make your car stand out without looking tricked up. Good job. I'm ordering a Black/Charcoal E500 on Monday and when it comes in I'll do the same thing. Did it to my E430 and really like the way it makes it look sportier.

front grille

Frank,

Thanks again for the infro. My car is a first decade March build and is due in mid-April, will be calling next week to order the parts so they are here when the car arrives.

Last question...........What color is your car? both exterior and interior. It looks silver....but I just want to be sure.

Thanks,
yyzmb

yyzmb,

Sorry for the quality of the picture. I should of taken the photo in the sunlight not in the shade. The color of my car is the brilliant silver with ash interior.
