squeaking HVAC fan...
My car is out of warranty, any idea what part i need to replace & cost and anyone have the instructions .
thanks!
I don't think it's that difficult to replace one of these blower motor fans. I replaced a blower motor resistor in one of these cars, it was fairly easy, although my back was sore for the rest of the day. To gain access the motor fan, remove the bottom panel below the glove box -- just a couple of screws. Remove the charcoal air filter. Remove the blower motor resistor -- just a couple of screws. And finally remove the screws holding the blower motor fan. Before go buying a new fan, you should remove the panel under the glove box, turn on the fan, and listen -- make sure the noise is coming from the motor fan.

$124.95including free ground shipping (from CA).
This is the best price I could find.
I have one on the way.
No I don't know if it is OEM
I doubt it includes the controller
There are two pictured in their website
One is 216.95 and I asked them what the difference was,
The guy on the phone said one was the radiator fan,
I said it was not,
He checked and came back with
"There is no difference, they are the same, just a different price"
Naturally I took the cheaper of the two
I will post when I get it installed
Not my store: Deal with them or don't

It is OEM equipment. This is just the motor; the regulator comes separate. I have only changed the motor out. Very easy. As stated before. Drop the panel behind the glovebox. Disconnect the wiring to the light on that panel. If you look up you see the bottom of the motor with the regulator on it covered with a small platic panel. Unclip the wire from the little panel and disconnect it where it goes into the regulator. Remove the panel. Then you'll see the regulator mounted on the blower motor. Remove the 2 torques and the wire connector between regulator and motor. Then you have access to the 4 torques that hold the motor in place. Your work position is kind of awkward, but I had it done in about 1 hour.
