I have my new car!!!
I picked up my new car last Thursday April 17th from the dealership which allowed me to get used to the car over the four day break for Easter.
In a word I am "ecstatic"!!!
First a few thank you's.
The color combination is fantastic, thanks Ray(car) for your advice and various others on this board.
Secondly,a big thank you to all who have pushed the wood/wheel option.I have shown the car to about six or seven family and friends and without fail all have commented on the wood wheel and how truely elegant it looks.
Worth every penny (AUS $1,100 fitted).
Car is fitted with the Audio APS 50 system that I have in writing will be retrofitted to COMMAND.
The techology in this car is unbelievable- I will be starting an Applied Computer Engineering course ASAP!!
I will get a hold of my mates digital camera this weekend and take a few shots of her for you all.
Thanks for all your help and advice again.

Thanks mate.
I wish I had it months ago but it arrived in Melbourne April 7th, then to MB holding dock and customs,arrived at my dealer on Tuesday 15th and picked it up on Thursday 17th in the afternoon.

Yep, the best part is seeing your forum buddies go through the excitement of the order process, wait impatiently, and finally have gratification in the form of a fine automobile. Enjoy the great outdoors. I know one of my daily joys is driving my E.
Hey, I *almost* kept up with a Corvette today. I get a kick out of ordinary drivers thinking they can take out a family sedan, only to find out that they either lose, or only barely beat the ever precious 0-60 time. If I only had an E55 everytime I raced one of these idiots!
