These willl not fit because of the offset. The wheels will be sticking out of the fenders. And yes you do need TPMS, but you can transfer it from your old wheels and on the new one.

Incorrect. Offset works the opposite. But you are correct that they will not fit.

P.S.
TPMS was mandatory since MY08. Only need to transfer if removed by seller.

It is a common misconception that if the bolt pattern is the same and the rolling diameter is close, the wheels will fit. Offset is just as important. Get a stick that will fit across the back of the wheel. Measure the distance from the back of the wheel to the portion of the wheel that bolts up to the hub. Do this with both sets of wheels. That will show you the difference, if there is one, and if it's more than a few millimeters you will either be unable to mount the wheels, or will need spacers. I don't know for a fact there is a difference, but it sounds like the previous posters do.

Thanks for the reply but i am completely lost in what you are saying...

i thought either they will fit or not ? were is the standardization gone ??

18" wheel 5 x 112 then i read 18 x 8 or 18 x 8.5 why they make it so hard....

i guess i will have to go to the dealer and ask them what is my wheel size and bolt pattern

thanks guys i am glad i asked before the purchase i would be $1400 out of pocket....

As the Moderator stated above, charliele729 response is incorrect.
I just want to add a bit info to Moderator's info. As he correctly stated, the wheels will not fit as is. However, these wheels will fit without any issues, but it will require using 10mm H&R hubcentric spacers upfront and 15mm H&R hubcentric spacers at the rear (you will also need corresponding 10mm longer (38-40mm) and 15mm longer (43mm) than stock (28mm) bolts). Tire sizes are identical so you do not need to do anything. Also, TPMS in W212 are not compatible with W211 and vise versa - you'll need to remove your sensors and re-install them on to the W212 wheels.

Of course why you would want to do all the above is a different matter all together. IMO, W211's 5-spoke AMG wheels look a lot better than 2010's 6 double spoke AMGs or 2011's 5 double spoke AMGs.

Thankyou so much i will not go with this and you are right 5 spoke is nice..

i damage my rimm and tire right side after going over big pot hole. dealer said rimm and tires for your car $1900.

then i thought well i can get a brand new set for $1400 all matching and new.. This was my reasoning behind getting new wheels and tires..

I will look for amg 18" 2009 wheels and tire set so that way i don't have to mess around with spacer's and bolt ...

picture is what i have currently

Wow you guys are amazing thank you life saver

educate my self every day...it true what they say you never stop learning

I would suggest the following:

1. For the future (starting next fall), get yourself a dedicated 17" snow tires/wheels package.

2. Check eBay for your exact wheels. There are a lot of listings for them.

Love your 5 spoke amg rims. Hate my 10 twin spoke rims that came on our 07 Sport. Ok look but impossible to keep clean. Good luck with the replacements. Yes. Great info here. Thanks to all!
