Just picked up a spring booster, headed to California in a couple weeks and I will be picking up wheels.
Hopefully I will do the complete assembly in a couple months, my extra bedroom is filling up quick with parts! Pretty excited to get this thing together

Updated the map dvd for the nav system.
The NTG1 system update involves removing the old disk from the trunk and inserting the new DVD. It took (literally) "no time".
There is no fanfare. Software doesn't change. You still can't type in an exact house number - only a range...
When you restart the car, there are simply more streets and points of interest.
You don't loose your existing destination memory locations.
On the face of it, so "not" worth $250...
On the other hand, a $500 insurance damage deductible and $1000 home-owners deductible for loss mean that damage associated with theft of a very capable Garmin/TomTom from the dashboard will run you $700 plus the inconvenience of days in the shop. Maybe it is worth $250 every four years or so...
At least I can find Starbucks now!! (Its under points of interest, restaurants, All.)

I don't think I have what you are looking for, I should have really said auxiliary audio cable (3.5mm jack) that is the Griffin Technology flat cable so you can simply close the glove box and have the flat cable run out of the side instead of having to keep it open. http://tinyurl.com/7x9gqg4 is the exact part, and I took two pictures of what I am talking about. I purchased it in-store at Best Buy for $19. It does NOT allow you to control your iPod from the COMAND interface, but rather is just a high quality audio input cable. Here are the poor quality pictures (bad lighting in the garage):

drove back from Vegas
Well I drove back from Vegas with some winnings! Now I am wondering about the bluetooth puck for my "new to me" 2008 e63 with command. Been searching for a few hours and see scattered strings but no exact info for my model.
Any help out there? Do I just need the bluetooth puck? Just the silver B67875878? dealer wants 495. If I buy from ebay do i then need to have it coded at the dealer.
Thanks brother w211's

Washed my baby again after about 2 weeks of letting its perfect shine slide through the cracks. Will be vacuuming, doing tire black, and going over it with the black detail spray from the Turtle Wax Black Box to get it ready for the start of the school year.

This week in LA had been a scorcher and so I finally got some tints on her. 20% rear and rear sides, 35% front sides. Really wish I had the rear power sunshade option right about now

Sadly, I haven't done anything for mine in awhile. I need to add a few more sound deadening tiles to the rear deck but it's such a pain to remove the rear seats and all the trim, I just haven't felt the need. Plus, it's hard to want to do much after work when it's over a 100 degrees everyday.
